The Backroom @ Toppings

I liked this place. Not a ton of curb appeal and but the backroom coffee lives up to its name. When you get past the frozen yogurt on the front it opens up to a nice little coffee shop and has a couple of couches and lots of tables. Has wifi! Good spot for some quiet if you're looking for it!

I am happy to have an independent coffee shop in our town!!! The space is very inviting, perfect to just sip your coffee alone or gather with friends.
The coffee is a Michigan based roasting company which I love, stay small and local as much as possible.
I had a latte my first visit, it was delicious.
The service is friendly.
I am looking forward to lots of walks to the Backroom.

In the back part of the Toppings building is their new business, which is an AWESOME local coffee shop. Yummy breakfast bites and delicious coffee offered in such a cool and cozy atmosphere. You can’t go wrong with this local spot. ☕️♥️

This place is awesome and deserves more attention! The coffee is pretty good and the atmosphere is great. I will say that my brownie was pretty meh, but I came at a weird, late time. The person working was very nice and likeable.

We were driving through town and needed a coffee stop. We try our hardest to stop at smaller businesses whenever we can. We were not disappointed! Lattes and hot cocoas were crowd pleasers. Cozy seating area was inviting and the bathroom was clean. The whole family enjoyed our quick stop.

I’ve went in here twice and asked for a unique latte without choosing what goes in it. Both times the barista was up to the challenge and didn’t disappoint! Love it! You girls rock!

I LOVE this place!! Just visited for the first time today. Very calm and welcome environment– and you don’t have to order coffee. Best chai tea latte I’ve ever had.

11/10, would highly recommend! Great service, welcoming atmosphere, and wonderful beverages. Love to see an independent coffee shop in Big Rapids! Bravo Backroom!
