I was in town for a day trip and stopped by this place completely by chance, and was pleasantly surprised. My mission was to get something quick to eat before I was on my way back home. They offered quite a bit of food options. I got a small quiche and a muffin, and ordered tea (not a coffee person, so no coffee info in this review). The sole staff member at the time was friendly and helpful. The place was nicely organized and almost soothing. Thoroughly enjoyed my food and time there.

Very cute coffee place! The coffee tastes delicious and the ambiance is welcoming and cozy. They have housemade syrups, which is always a plus.

Always a friendly atmosphere. Great food and café drinks crafted with care. The modern, clean, calm atmosphere makes for a fantastic place to read or reflect. A must go place of you're in this part of Bay City.

My girlfriend lives just a mile down the road from this cute little coffee shop. Our very first time trying them out, and I've got to say, we were both extremely underwhelmed. The staff were young and gave the impression that they did not want to be there. The woman who took our order looked visibly annoyed the entire time. And when we got our coffee, it was nothing like what we had in mind. My girlfriend got the winter special "Snowball", which includes chocolate, caramel, and coconut syrup. Both of us agree it tastes like an average, bitter cup of coffee. No flavor whatever. I ordered a brown sugar hot cocoa, very basic flavor, can hardly tell there's any brown sugar. Not to mention both of our "HOT" drinks were just above luke warm. I'm extremely disappointed, and we will most likely not be coming back for seconds.

Very aesthetic and cozy coffee shop. They have a satisfying and reasonably priced coffee, and I enjoyed the homemade oat bars. The name of the cafe, as confirmed by the barista, is based on the live oak trees you see in the Carolinas, which have big beautiful limbs that spread far and wide create big canopies. I used to live in Wilmington, NC so this reminded me of my prior home. The inside reflects the name by having a lot greenery and a variety of comfortable places to sit. Great spot for a Saturday morning pick me up

Yesterday I took my laptop to Live Oak for a change of pace. The atmosphere was great and so was the coffee. They also offer free wifi!

Great Cafe! Coffee so good & very inexpensive. Didn't eat, but they had a beautiful assortment of handfoods. Located on river.

The prices are good for such a good vibe! The vibe was relaxing as it should! They also have different types of milk to choose from someone who has a sensitivity to cows milk!
