Lux Cafe

Once I ventured for something other than breakfast food here. Its not their lunch food is bad, as it was quite tasty, but I still longed for their breakfast. Be prepared portions are quite large and super flavor packed. Be warned there usually is a wait on the weekends.

The food is delicious. The staff friendly and good at what they do. Key on weekends is to arrive early as it can get very busy for the reasons above! Highly recommended!

Food it great, but huuuuge portions! If I ask for 2 eggs please don't give me 4. The extra is a waste, and I'm not interested in reheating fried eggs and French toast. It's delicious, but I have other meals planned ya know?!

Have eaten here twice already after it was recommended to me by my coworker and really loved it! The staff is really friendly and the food is amazing, I haven't lived in Michigan long but this is the first place I have found here in the north that actually does good Chicken Fried Steak! Everywhere else I have been it's soggy or doesn't taste right but at Lux Cafe it is amazing, also love their Strawberry Shortcake, their prices are extremely low as well for the huge portion sizes.

They seem to make most of their food fresh which will be really good for anyone with a food allergy though, my only problems are that sadly they don't have gluten-free options (though I am sure you could find something with their large menu) and their hours are very early as well which makes it difficult to eat here for me and my family though it makes sense for a mostly breakfast place.

Place known for their Skillet breakfasts, it did take several minutes to be seated although a group of five employees were huddled around the cash register and glanced over at me several times.

Great food and Service as always. We were there on Black Friday, Unfortunately they did not offer the all you can eat fish but still a wonderful meal. Totally understand why they can't do that on extremely busy days like that.

The best food and cooks and waitresses in town! Definitely a team everyone doing their job. We eat there at least once a week. You won’t leave hungry, they know when they see us our favorite drinks and all I have to say is the usual. Service is awesome. Our favorite place to eat❣️

What a fantastic place. Such a welcoming environment. Incredibly friendly staff. It's obvious this is a local favorite. Portions were overly generous, couldn't even finish my scramble. Pancakes were perfect. This is exactly what I was looking for for breakfast when traveling through. Battle Creek is blessed to have a place like this.
