The Village Cafe

I have been here multiple times and at first it was my favorite cafe in the area. The past 5 times I have been here, the food is good but the lattes are trash. When asked about it, the owner said he premakes the espresso so he can be faster during the lunch rush. That defeats the purpose because the latte looses all the strength since the espresso is diluted. So your paying for a latte but getting a watered down coffee. This is not a fast food restaurant, waiting for a latte is normal. Especially if you are PAYING for it

Great food and caffenated drinks! I enjoyed the breakfast burritos and the grilled muffins!
Everyone here is nice!
Tip for anyone who is limited in time.... call your order ahead, don't wait in line and save time!!
Good parking in the rear! If you're not from the town or vicinity, you will not know that there are limited parking spots up front and it is difficult to back out from those spots when there's constant traffic on the Main St.

Most of the time the food is pretty good, but I have had multiple instances of my salads/sandwiches being inedible. I’m not sure what is going on but there have been chunks of ice in the salad container along with mushy, rotting lettuce. I ordered a chicken salad wrap once and there was legit mold in it that I didn’t discover until I bit into it. If you order items that are popular, it seems you’re in the clear but anything else and you might get moldy, rotting produce.

A great local place for lunch. The kids love it. It's my daughter's favorite place to get tuna fish sandwiches

I absolutely love the Village Store. Their paninis are so delicious and the restaurant is a warm and welcoming place to be. They are always consistent with their dishes and my favorite is definitely the turkey pesto panini. I highly recommend stopping by the Village Store. It's awesome!

Nice bagel sandwich w/egg & cheese . Fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. Cozy, homey decor. Great little place. Busy road, don't bother with parking in front when it's busy. There are spaces in back.

Love the atmosphere of this wonderful cafe. The food is fabulous! We have turned to take out during Covid times, it’s become more than a weekly order! Have you tried their homemade moon pies? ❤️

Witnessed staff completely disregard a customer after they had messed up her order/didn’t even have it then moved on to other customers before resolving the issue. Definitely need some customer service training. Mediocre food for a sky high price, this place isn’t even worth the one star I have to give in all honesty.

I enjoyed a double espresso and grabbed a seat on a comfy couch and read a couple of chapters of my book. Then I got a coffee to go from a good selection of flavored options. The Village Store has good coffee house music playing, a great selection for breakfast or lunch items and quick, friendly service. It is a great local meeting place.

Great spot for lunch or a coffee and baked good. Sandwiches are made to order. Sized generously. Priced reasonably. Eclectic patrons range from local school kids to seniors. Atmosphere is cozy.
