I used to come to this location for every single occasion that needed a cake. The cake I recently received was a chocolate cake with butter cream frosting. The chocolate cake had absolutely no taste and was completely dried.

Before even tasting the cake or knowing that it was going to be terrible, I asked one of the owners if he did small wedding cakes. (I’m talking a one tier cake) He then proceeded to ask me if I was one of his “regulars” because he only does those types of cakes for regulars and not just random customers. I was highly offended because as I had mentioned earlier I literally ordered cakes for every occasion there. Regardless if someone is a regular or not you should offer a service to everyone if you’re going to offer it to one. Silly me for considering the little guy because of pandemic has been so tough on all of the small businesses. Needless to say I will never walk through those doors ever again.

I went to Salem, Massachusettes for a little getaway and one of the things I wanted to do was find a truly authentic bakery. THIS PLACE WAS EVERYTHING I HAVE EVER DREAMED OF!! They have such a variety of things. Their prices are VERY fair. Everything I tried was outstanding. Even their coffee bar was perfect. I was so impressed that I went back a 2nd time before I went home so I could bring my family back some to try. If you are thinking about visiting Coffee Time.. DO IT!!!! You will not be disappointed.

Warning, if you don't enjoy excellent service, and fantastic sweets, this isn't the place to be. To die for muffins, scones, donuts, pastries, and cakes. I left my card on my car. Had some custom cakes from there, 3 different flavors and they were all amazing. Everyone loved them. Moist, flavorful, and delicious. The coffee here is awesome too. I have not had a bad item from this place. All their pastries are worth it.

Visited this spot a few times while in Salem. Very cute interior as it was all decked out for Halloween. The chocolate chip cookies were thick, but soft and delicious. The apple cider was even better! I will definitely return on my next trip to Salem.

You can order large volumes of items 24-48 hours in advance for parties or special occasions. They have at counter seating and a few tables and are open late.

This place is amazing! Best donuts in Salem! To be honest, it's the ONLY donuts I've had in Salem but they were so good I won't look anywhere else.

Very nice staff, super accommodating. I LOVE their Cuban Latte's with Almond Milk, and will always go there over any of the competition. I'm always impulse-buying boxes of pastries -- never regret!

The key lime pie is my favorite. I also like some of their donuts especially jelly. Coffee is great, mocha iced coffee perfect every time. Staff is always super friendly. The hot chocolate is good in the fall and winter too. Parking is usually super easy and service is fast and efficient. They box up orders for travel well. Our whole family loves Coffee Time!

Love this bakery. Amazing doughnuts and pastries. Good coffee. The best raspberry lime rickys.
