Shared one the buffalo chicken pizzas on spelt crust. Was so tasty!! Great customer service. So friendly and fun! Even the pizza maker said hello. Great assortment of bread and baked goods and nice support of local farms and products!! Will be going back frequently!

If in town as i was just passing through, this is a must!
What a gem, what quality, what passion for good service, flavor, and variety. I had the meatloaf melt and I couldn't have been happier. Elevated nostalgia! Canalès! No one makes these! So happy, and the flavors of Bordeaux came right back!
You will here rewarded.

After reading the reviews and being a regular customer for the past couple years, I wanted to add the sentiment that this place is fabulous (to counteract the one person spamming them for their mask policy). I heartily miss the incredible breakfast options (unavailable due to COVID), but the pizza, bread and pastries remain a Pittsfield highlight. The sourdough crust has just the right texture and their toppings are inspired; the croissants are always top-notch and the bread world-famous. And I appreciate their masks and the polite staff keeping folks waiting for food, masked or not, outside to avoid crowding. The special soups and salads are great and cater to gluten-free folk as well! So grateful for this local spot.

They have great chocolate croissants, lots of other pastries, and various breads! A little bit more pricey than Dunkin donuts and the grocery store.

I asked a local register attendant where they would go for lunch. They recommended Berkshire Mountain bakery. Upon arrival I asked a person stocking shelves what they recommended. Everyone was super friendly and the sandwich was delicious! Everything tasted as if it were crafted with care and attention and I left extremely satisfied.

So good. We got the peasant French loaf and an apple turnover. Perfect textures. I like when my sweets are not over sweet- you could actually taste the natural apple sweetness (not asugar overload). The peasant french bread was perfect for our charcuterie night!

I had a good lunch here when they were still serving customers in their dining room. Yesterday, and I and a friend tried their takeout. We both ordered side salads and sandwiches. For the $38 we spent (w/o beverages!) I say, not again. The sandwiches were Okay but neither of us got the right salad.

They make really great pizza. It tastes like it's made at home with all fresh ingredients and, of course, fresh dough. We LOVE the take and bake option, where they prepare the pizza for you and you pick it up and bake it at home. (*An amazing perk- they make a spelt {still gluten, but may be easier digested for some with sensitivities} crust and a gluten free crust for their pizza's, which is great for families like mine with a member who is gluten intolerant! And- they are really good!!)
They also make really delicious croissants. This is a great addition to the neighborhood!!

I LOVE the food and live in the neighborhood so I stop often. Unfortunately twice I've been blown away by customer service. Once the girl at the counter asked us to wait while she straighten out someone's order but when she came to us she told me we were too late too order sandwiches! It was one minute after their shut off time! She kept us waiting!! I let it go. But recently I order two sandwiches and two salads. Just about $50.00. I was going to take it to a function the next day so I asked if they could just separate some of the salad stuff so they wouldn't get mushy. After I had paid and came back to pick them up they said they needed to charge me more. Really? Bummer. I love supporting local places and the higher prices for quality food but I thought customer service would make it easier to take. I was wrong.
They did a nice job, probably more than what was necessary also the food was FABULOUS!
