We were on our way back home so we googled a place to eat breakfast. Did we luck out with this cute eatery! The food was awesome...duck eggs, sausage, roasted potatoes, and waffle. Then hubby ordered the Harvest Hash and we shared everything.

He usually eat corn beef hash so when I saw the the name of their hash I thought yuk. It had bites of sweet potatoes, beets, brussels sprouts and spices. I thought this was mixed into the corn beef, but no! No corn beef was harmed lol. This tasty mixture was yummy.

Marie and staff were so accommodating. The nicest group of people you'd love to meet. So this place is a keeper. We'll come back when we're in Mass. I loved it and so will you. Good food, great staff, and charm.

Truly a hidden gem!! First time visitors to the Fig Tree, we were greeted at the door by the "Boss Lady" (see her parking space for explanation). Very open layout for inside dining - completely in line with the governor's edict. Jamie came over with coffee and he made sure that I never saw the bottom of the mug!
The menu is almost as extensive as any of the "big name" restaurants on Cape. We are both stopped when we got to the "Scrumptious Sammies." Three fried eggs, four full slices of applewood bacon and cheese on a bulkie roll for only $6.95??!!? I will let the pix speak for themselves. I took a half sandwich shot of each Sammie to show how consistent the portions are. The homemade hot sauce was so good, my friend took the rest home! We could have added home fries for $2 more but we were glad we didn't. We were "pleasantly plumped" once the sandwiches were gone.
Marie (or Maria?), the Boss Lady, stopped by to chat. We assured her that we would be coming in often to sample the rest of the menu!
Make the Fig Tree Cafe your next stop for breakfast or lunch. You'll be glad you did!! 😋

Don't you hate the review from the out of towner?
I've been here each visit to the cape. Solo and with others. I actually messaged the local Yelpers about 'can't miss' spots, and this was one that kept being mentioned.

Why not 5 stars? Because I don't rate like all the out of towners who have never tasted hollandaise on lobster before. The food is very good, and I will continue to visit. My problem is, I am treated like an outsider/tourist. I have always been rushed to leave, so they can use the seat. They literally set my check down first, then set my plate on top of it. Now it's twice I was at the counter seat by myself when this happened. When with others at a table, the server kept making references to the register. That table turn push is just not friendly. The greatest tip I can give to the owner, would be the App NoWait that pairs with Yelp. See the wait time, and get in line.

OK that's the gripe, now the glow!

The food is fantastic. They use a lot of fresh from the garden items to create daily specials. They build meals correct. Lobster is actual lobster. Corned beef hash(my favorite) is a beef that they prepped and cooked. Sliced off in steak form. diced into cubes, and skillet tossed with veggies and seasoning. Not dumped from a can or using somebodies deli sliced meat instead.
The Hollandaise is creamy, even, and light. I applaud anything they want to create with that on it. I like the skin on potatoes served. I know the Red skins and maybe whites? They are always cooked throughout, and well seasoned. The side of fruit is always fresh cut, never frozen or canned. I've sampled the pancakes off anothers plate. They are good, but still not the one that makes me moan out loud.

I cannot vouch for all the baked goods. Everything on the chalkboard(muffins, scones, donuts, cookies) are all homemade. I cannot vouch that the bread(toast), english muffins, or bagels are made in house. I do wonder if they make the sandwich rolls, or buns.

The interior is tastefully decorated. Not cluttered with nick nacks. Great wood floors that have always been clean. Counter tops, and wainscoting is done with a flair of compliment to the paint colors. I really like a chalkboard wall with artistic flair. Colors, fonts, artwork, caricatures, are all the right elements to draw, and hold the eye. The silverware, drink ware and plating is solid and just not plain.

See ya next visit.

The cutest little brunch place! Lots of delicious egg options (like my Brazilian omelette in the pic). Great service as well!

By far the best breakfast in Cape Cod! I ordered the Apple Crisp French Toast, which was basically dessert with delicious apple crisp stacked on fluffy french toast. The rest of my family ordered omelets, which they were very pleased with. The staff is very friendly and kind, and service was pretty fast. Definitely would visit again!

I went to the cape to grab a bite to eat for my Father's birthday and ran into this place by accident. The food was great, the service was fast, and we certainly had our choice of variety. I will return to this spot.
