Amazing family owned coffee shop— they remembered me ever since the first time I came in, and always go the extra mile to make sure my cappuccino is just the way I’d like it :) and the Sambusas are excellent.
A very peaceful coffee shop. Coffee is very strong with a handful of flavoring available if needed. The food was made to order making it fresh and flavorful. The pricing was incredibly affordable. The owner Issac is hospitable and kind. I’m proud to support this small black business <3
Coffee is strong and SO delicious. We got the pumpkin spice and the cinnamon dacha lattes. The savory lentil pastries were AMAZING and the red velvet cake slapped.
The lady working today was so sweet and inviting, making sure we enjoyed everything we got. Come check this place out if you're in the area!!!
(Friday lunch order have to haves) - light, vegan - hmm, Spring 2023 May 5 - partly-cloudy 67 degrees F:
House Ful - my perennial favorite dish which is said to have originate in the Sudan and traditionally combines fava beans, tomatoes, onions, minced garlic and onion and jalapeño peppers and topped with diced red onion, tomato, green bell pepper, a dab of berbere sauce and a couple of dollops of sour cream or feta cheese: here with topping chopped romaine lettuce, red onion, tomato and pickle mixture (sweet & sour) plus berbere sauce and sour cream. It was delicious!
It's the small piece of home you've been missing. The host is the sweetest woman, service is great and food even better. The fetira with honey was definitely my winner.
The coffee beans are unmatched in taste! I had a latte and it was amazing. The cafe’s atmosphere has a “local mom and pop” feel, it is very inviting and cozy. Definitely recommend this place!
Just walked a half mile because this place was so well reviewed. It’s 15 minutes after opening time, and the place is still closed and locked. No signs advertising a closure or anything, but it’s certainly not open. Boo.

Good coffee, quiet and calm space, and very welcoming hosts. And their Fetira (like a crepe) is delicious! Good spot for families with little kids.
