Mom and Pop coffee roasters. Their coffee is decent but it all seems to be lightly roasted. Of the 2 I tried neither had a real full bodied flavor profile. For a dark roast drinker it's not going to impress but it's good coffee. It's also a nice location and has a cozy atmosphere. Deffinatly a good place to hit while browsing the town shops. 4 stars for no espresso machine. What do you have against espresso?

Hands down the best coffee on the Eastern shore!! Jay is always welcoming everyone with a smile and never forgets a name. The quality of the beans and roast is second to none!!

Super friendly staff taught me lots about their equipment and their beans. Upon their recommendation, I got a bag called PB&J. It actually tastes like PB&J without there being overbearing, added flavoring. 10/10.
My chai was also delish.

We have been here a couple times recently and this is, bar none, the best coffee I have had anywhere. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about coffee and I feel like when I come in I get an education on coffee and roasting. We are from Pittsburgh and I will tell you this little coffee shop is worth the trip even if you need to go out of your way to stop.

Amazing Toasted Marshmallow Hot Chocolate. So good we came back for more! The people soooooo personable and wonderful and sweet. We enjoyed their candor and they made it feel like we were friends. Definitely will stop by again when we are in town!

Very cool spot. Funky vibes and run by excellent people. Delicious coffee and cold brew and muffin. Can’t wait to stop back in

It is absolutely wonderful that they toast their coffee. However, they vent directly into the residential street that they anchor. For anyone unaware, the smells from roasting coffee are extreme, a nuisance at best and nauseating more often. Well, go inside to get away from the smell, where they brew 4 of their dozen+ coffees. Very unfortunate that their brewed coffee is watery, as they appear to take great pride in their roasting, which can't shine in a poorly brewed coffee. Snacks are scarce and uninspired. Excellent, extremely friendly service

Easy to walk past as it doesn't face the main street but don't! Great little place. Wonderful chai latte. Freshly roasted and ground coffee.

Enjoyed an excellent pour-over at this lovely small batch coffee roaster. It’s one of the first places to open in the morning, so Blue Heron is a great place for early birds.

Amazing Coffee, great owners!
Had a great discussion with both owners and received advice about french press at home. They offer many types of coffee preparation and i had french press which was amazing. Highly recommended.
