Love Life Coffee

I contacted this lovely black woman owned cafe for a large order of bagels, pastries, coffee, and hot chocolate to celebrate Black History month in my office for about 200 people on 3 floors. Wow! They truly exceeded my expectations on all levels. First, I very much appreciated the assistance with pricing and planning, which took several phone calls because of my needs. Second, the cafe was soooo accommodating with packaging to make my life distributing the food much easier. Third, of course I needed it first thing at 7am to meet my organization's needs and they were incredibly gracious to come in early to have the order ready at what many may consider the crack of dawn.. Finally, I was overwhelmed by the quality of the food and drink, but most importantly the kindness, friendliness, and commitment of these wonderful people to a welcoming environment with quality products. I can’t wait to go back just for a coffee and pastry in an uplifting space. I’d recommend love life cafe for large and small occasions…or just to relax! Everyone loved it! the first time i came here about a month ago, i knew i would return - my coffee was great and the cafe environment was very warm and relaxed. i never got around to coming back until today, but after today’s visit i knew i needed to write a review. the owner is so kind and the staff are all so cheerful and helpful, but what i really want to talk about is how unique their menu is. the coffee and pastries are delicious, but their pressed juices and toasts are AMAZING and unlike anything ive ever had at other places. the hummus toast might be my favorite so far, but the banana toast and cashew butter toast were also soo good and perfect if you’re looking for something sweet. the Eye See Sunshine drink was really powerful and fresh, and i cant wait to try the other juices. what a lovely addition to the community and i am already ready for my next visit. check them out!!

I saw them advertised and was very excited to try a new independent coffee place in the area—and they did NOT disappoint! Both of our lattes (pumpkin spice and toasted marshmallow oat) were so smooth and flavorful! I’m definitely a loyal customer now and look forward to going back and trying their delicious-looking menu items and more drinks!

I can't for the life of me understand why anyone thought it was a good idea to replace Starbucks with this café. I ordered an almond milk latte with sugar free vanilla from here and the employee's (who were very friendly) proceeded to make their coffee before making mines, a paying customer. The latte ended up being over $7, which is more than I pay at Starbucks for the same drink. I wouldn't have mind the price tag had the coffee been good. It was horrible, I struggled to choke it down. My friend offered to get me another drink at a local Café nearby, but I couldn't ignore the cost of what I was drinking. Not wanting the money to go to waste, I went home and drowned it in milk to dilute the chemical flavor. I'm not sure what brand of sugar free syrup this café uses, but I strongly urge them to reconsider. I assume that's what made the latte unbearable. I would not return here. It's now a hassle for me, but I'd rather go the extra mile to obtain caffeine I can consume without my stomach churning. Sorry, friendly staff (big unprofessional) but the coffee I had was horrible.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Its MLK Day and made it a point to look for a new Black business to support so my son can see Black achievement. The place is cozy and decor is trendy. The cashier was friendly and offered us helpful suggestions on what to order. I went with the Chai Latte with vanilla and avocado toast, my husband went with a green cold pressed juice and banana toast and my 3 yr old went with a cup of milk and red velvet cake. Y'all, everything was ON. POINT. My kid kept hanging around the counter waiting for cake and practically bit his tongue shoveling it down his throat. It was a bit of a drive for us, but well worth it to return.

I love th is place and this is my first visit. I happened to walk in on a whim. The owner happened to be in grabbing a bite herself unbeknownst to me. I was immediately greeted by the two ladies behind the counter who seemed genuinely happy to see me walk in. I should also probably mentioned I was giving very much help me I'm homeless vibes since I hadn't planned on going into any establishments just grabbing a coffee at a drive thru. Usually people would pay you no mind take your money and barely speak. This was the complete opposite experience. I left with a hand written thank you note a smile on my face and a stomach very pleased.

VIBES
This place is very artsy, modern and hip in my opinion. There is beautiful art covering the walls which will have you staring in awe. The color scheme is very peaceful and inviting. There are a couple items from the menu on display in case you are unsure. They sell merchandise and host social events for the community and creatives.

FOOD
Since this was my first visit I wanted to try something familiar for met drink. I went with he white chocolate lavender latte, a mix up one of the baristas made up. I choose the peanut butter and jelly toast with fresh fruit toppings. When I mean I was completely shocked and surprised, I had never thought to try this concoction as a breakfast option but I can never go back now. It is officially in my top 5 breakfast options.

FINAL THOUGHTS
I highly recommend you give this place a try even if you have to take a little drive. I am so glad I wandered in I am making this a place to go every week. I want to support this place so that it never leaves. The pic do this spot no justice you have to see it and experience it for yourself.

Greeted by incredible staff and good music. Coffee was perfect too, so smooth. I recommend the latte with white mocha and lavender flavor. Love the artwork and environment. Will definitely be back!

This place is amazing! Cute interior, friendly staff, and one of the best chai lattes I’ve had (I ordered with oat milk and vanilla). Cozy seats to catch up with friends and wifi + outlets to do work. I also loved the artwork on the walls. Will definitely be coming back!

The coffee and juices (all I’ve had so far) are simply amazing and the only thing better than that is the customer service. I won’t give Starbucks another penny. The owner is awesome- she truly cares about her customers and works to give us an excellent experience every time!
