A local, hidden gem! The vegan egg sandwich, iced coffee, toasted bagel with cream cheese, and black medium roast coffee were excellent! 10/10 would recommend for breakfast.

great calvert county find!! certainly the best chill hang out place. beautiful interior space with two story glass windows and a warm stone fireplace. was greeted as i walked in. no line on a saturday lunch even though i called my order in ahead of time. but it was icy and snowy out so i'm sure this is not the usual crowd numbers. still, there were about 10 others hanging out and observing proper social distancing. ordered a shrimp salad on a croissant, a curried chicken salad on sourdough with fries. very good flavor on the chicken. excellent fries: md/thrashers style. shrimp was ok but needed some seasoning. croissant was nothing special but acceptable and a little buttery. after eating them in france and Montreal everything is a step down of course. service was efficient and warm. got the strawberry pop tart which was excellent- usually they disappoint everywhere else. great icing and dough. sundae cupcake was good. as a non-profit who gives their money to End Hunger in Calvert i applaud their humanitarian ethos and drive. also, they give you a generous rewards program. what's not to love!! soo happy to live close by as northern calvert only has Pinky's and the Chesapeake Griil & Deli as independent standouts. they should advertise a lot more as i live 5 minutes away and had no idea they existed and i'm a food hawk. if not for the Bay Weekly rating them the best coffee and pastry i never would have known about them.

Surprise burger at a coffee bar! It was great and the fries on the side stood out all on their own.

The staff we're lovely and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. Nick made some excellent recommendations. Relaxing atmosphere. Great choices for vegan and vegetarians. The best sweet tea!

My favorite place for a meal or quick treat. Service and food is stellar! Although I love everything I've tried, a few favorites are the caramel crave, seasonal salads, acai bowls and mac-n-cheese. I'd give more stars if I could....Plus it helps a great cause!

I come here regularly to work on my computer and it’s 100% because of the workers. They are the NICEST people I’ve ever encountered at a restaurant/retail place. The food is fire and the coffee keeps me alive. Get the curry chicken salad sandwich it’s my favorite.

My Favorite place to have breakfast or lunch. Everything I had there is absolutely delicious. Some of my favorites are avocado toast, cheese cake, veggie burger, and I Love that all proceeds go to such a wonderful cause in our community!

The cookies n cream crave is soo good and the cake pops are good too!!! Staffs friendly, outdoor or indoor seating.
