This place is amazing! They always have delicious drinks, food, and pastries! I haven't had better service anywhere else in Calvert! The staff are all outstanding, and hats off to the chefs! Just be sure to order your coffee extra hot if you like it normal hot 😆

The pumpkin chocolate chip muffin was delightful.

We sat out on the patio, which was really nice, and I had a chai latte - I'm not much of a coffee drinker.

It's a nice little café connected to Chesapeake Church, and raises money for End Hunger Calvert County, which my church - Emmanuel Church just down the road, has worked with before.

I moved to Baltimore and I miss this place so much!!! I used to go at least twice a day. Some weekends I go out of my way back to Calvert just to visit them for their avocado toast and iced lattes!! The staff is amazing and there’s a lot of room to sit and relax. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars though for the muffins. I wish they made the pumpkin chocolate chip muffins all year. They are the best muffins ever 😭

I tried the highly rated homemade pop tart. It was delicious but a little overly sweet.

This is a must-go! Our first time in the Chesapeake Beach area and we couldn’t have picked a better spot for breakfast. Try the avocado toast and split one of their blueberry muffins. The only thing I wish we’d have known about was the plentiful amount of outdoor tables available at 8:30am on a Saturday. It was a beautiful day and we could’ve eaten outside. Pick-up experience was still great, however.

This is a gem of a place here in Huntingtown/Calvert. I've lived down the road not more than 4 minutes from the lobby for 6 years and only just realized it was here. Food is amazing and the coffee/ tea are top notch. The folks that work there are also super friendly, and the cafe itself has a nice vibe! Please check this place out!

I am continuously impressed with The Lobby. Their staff are some of the nicest, most courteous, and welcoming bunch of people I've ever interacted with across a countertop. The coffee, from Open Seas Roasters, is phenomenal. I tend to gravitate towards their pour-over options which are priced fairly for what they offer. The food is reasonably priced, delicious, and there are plenty of options to choose from.

Needed a bite to eat on my way out of town and called ahead to order the bacon pineapple pizza...most polite, friendly and genuinely pleasurable experience Ive had at any retail establishment, of any kind, in recent memory. The food is excellent and the people are equally as warm and inviting. Knocked it out of the park for me. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing! They make all their pastries and food in house. Their coffee is great. Wonderful, cozy atmosphere with comfortable outdoor seating (and umbrellas). Tons of seating and very friendly and inviting staff. There's also a small outdoor playground and some trails across the parking lot.
