Free Range Cafe

Just tried the sneaky mac n cheese for the first time. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was very good. If I didn't know that it was a healthier version, I'd still like it! I may have to stop there a little more often for my favorite comfort food now, instead of the higher calorie versions elsewhere. They give you a very filling portion too!

I'm impressed every single time I eat here!!! The food, the service, the atmosphere... Alllll of it is always on point. Fave place in Hagerstown, and their food doesn't make you want to take a nap afterward. You just feel good and satisfied and happy. LOVE.

Free Range is a great spot! We were delighted to find them and truly impressed by their dishes. The interior also has great vibes. I could absolutely see spending hours in there reading or working on my laptop.

These guys are great! Even with everything that is going on they service with a smile and grace. It is extremely well priced and the granola is the best I've ever had. We've eated here twice now and both were great. I have a pineapple allergy and they went above and beyond to make sure that there was no pineapple in my food. Highly recommend and if you like Matcha get their Matcha drink iced. So good!

Misspellings on signs and menu.
I'll have to look up "massaged kale". Lots of pretentious/trendy ingredients.
My Korean style bowl was tasty, however. I'd consider getting it again.

The food was amazing. There isn't much like this in town so they now have ally business. It takes a few to get your order but who cares it's worth it! It's all fresh and yummy. The staff is amazing. Nothing like it around (I searched)

Interesting new take on breakfast. I ordered an oatmeal bowl but they had run out of that one. All their oatmeal is made overnight by soaking without cooking. I ordered a different oatmeal bowl and it was interesting but not as good as hot, cooked oatmeal. The steel-cut oats I cook at home is better even without the sweet toppings.
The bold roast coffee is good.

I am thrilled that such a wonderful, vegan-friendly spot has opened in Hagerstown! The food is tasty, affordable, and high-quality. The staff are warm & friendly & the owners are locals. Be sure to try their Avocado toast and Breakfast Wrap for some savory treats 🥑🍞🌯

I would have likely given this establishment two stars, but the food is very tasty. Free Range Cafe needs to figure out the operational side of their business, and employees need to be more customer focused and obsessed. During both of my visits the staff was dancing and eating behind the counter, meanwhile there were no napkins out, utensils or even water cups and myself among other customers needed service. I would like to see this restaurant become successful, but management needs to buckle down on the operations starting from menu availability, stocking ingredients for the few items that are made available, consistent hours, and guest interaction.

Free range cafe is a great alternative to the super processed food that's widely available. The employees were helpful and passionate about the product and the place looked great. The good was truly phenomenal as was the hand pressed juices and homemade teas! I'd definitely give this place a try if you're in the area!
