Always my favorite coffee shop until today when I had a bad customer service (the attitude of the cashier). I ordered a Matcha frozen with one shot of expresso. At first, they made it Mocha frozen, then I told him this is not matcha, he didnt apologize for wrong drink but kept saying like did you order a movha while the sticker saying MATCHA with one expresso shot. Then he said he would remake it, when i came back to pick up and tasted the drink, it didn’t taste like matcha with one shot, coz honestly, I am a barista too so dont tell me i dont know what coffee tastes like. I cam back and asked is he sure this has one shot of expresso? He said yes and then rudely asked do you want another shot? I didn’t come back to ask for free shot, i only ask for the shot i paid that they forgot to add in! I was very mad at the attitude, I never heard any apology, such horrible customer service, it only takes 2 seconds to say “i’m sorry”.

BEST lattes and sandwiches in Maryland. The Reuben on pumpernickel bagel is my go to. Any time I introduce anyone to Frederick Coffee Co they rant and rave about how great it is. A must go to spot nestled in downtown Frederick with plenty of outdoor seating and fast, friendly service even during rushes.

The breakfast bagel sandwich was good & really enjoyed the specialty (French toast) latte. The service was friendly.

Their breakfast sandwiches are so good! I was really impressed. The food came out quickly and was really well done. It’s small so plan on sitting outside or getting food to go, but it has a cool vibe and is a great choice.

The food was delicious, the coffee was perfect, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It gets busy, but the food and coffee are worth the wait!

Ambience - great for people-watching and they sometimes host open mics. Generally, a great vibe for any newcomer to Frederick.

I’ve been going to Frederick Coffee Co a few times per month for the past year and a half. It was my go to spot for an amazing sandwich and truly the best coffee and chai tea around. However, about 3 months ago I noticed that the food went downhill heavily. The sandwiches shrank to about half their old size, the orders are constantly missing an ingredient, and we used to LOVE their pickles but they are now a quarter of the size they used to be. Not sure what happened but the food quality has just been awful lately. I ordered their Reuben today and they forgot to put the sauerkraut on it; while the person I was with ordered the church street sandwich (We’ve had this probably 20 times this year) and there were almost no sprouts on it and they forgot the pickle. I’m pretty disappointed because this has happened every time over the past 3 months. We are considering finding a new lunch spot and only coming here for their fantastic drinks. I hope things change soon but for now it’s really been letting us down.

This place has completely hit rock bottom. If the employees look like they would rather be six feet under at any given moment instead of making a sandwich actually worth the money you're about to shell out, it may be time to open up something else here.

I went here to start trying all the coffee places in fredrick and as such got two lattes and a espresso shot. The lattes tasted like they were pure milk and idk how but the espresso had no crema and tasted a under extracted and watery. I didn't have the food so I can't speak to that, but the places coffee was a bit of a let down.
