Such a nice experience. They have some homemade vegan candies and food.
Also, they have oat, almond and macadamia milk, just saying macadamia is my favorite non dairy milk with coffee, and speaking of which the coffee is roasting in front of you.
The register guy, Joshua, he was very friendly.
If you are looking for some coffee shop besides Starbucks you should give a try in this one.
I highly recommend!

A coffee blog sent me to Vent Coffee Roasters while on a trip to Baltimore and I'm glad they did. Here's my experience going on Monday morning in December 2021:

1) Coffee: They roast their beans onsite. As you order your coffee, you can watch them roasting! They have a full coffee menu, including a section for specialty drinks. I ordered their "Bangkok" with house made vegan condensed milk, espresso, oat milk and nutmeg. It was tasty and not too sweet. They also sell a few small pastries, My toddler was a fan of the small vegan chocolate doughnut.

2) Space: It's a large space with benches inside and a few small tables in a room off to the side. During the pandemic, they ask you stay out of the main room once you have your coffee.

3) Location: It's inside Union Collective, an old Sears warehouse converted into a space for local businesses. There's a large parking lot out front and nearby are many other businesses from bars to a brewery, etc.

4) Service: It was efficient, but not friendly at all. The person at the register was fine, but the barista wasn't friendly at all. She seemed very annoyed I had a four-year-old with me and promptly told us to go to the side room once we got our coffee. Everyone is entitled to a bad day, so hopefully it's better when we return.

Chill spot, love the atmosphere with coffee beans roasting and mixing behind you. Good but not write-home-about-it latte espresso-wise (I'd give it about 3-4 stars by itself) but the fact that they have raw Colombian sugar (in addition to Splenda) adds a star on general principle.

Great person working. Good spot for a quick coffee or to do a little work (chairs are wooden, you wouldn't want to sit here for 12h non-stop).

Great place to work and study. There are outlets next to the tables and the staff is super friendly. I got a latte with honey lavender syrup (not shown in picture). The salmon and cream cheese is delicious, would definitely come again!

I visited this store with great expectations. The employees were friendly, my latte looked and tasted great, and the atmosphere was relaxing.
My "Large (16 oz)" latte, however, was the size of a Starbucks "Grande (16 oz)", but priced more than a "Vente (20 oz).
Great coffee, but priced way too high.

Absolutely amazing coffee, atmosphere, and service. We got to enjoy watching coffee being roasted next to our seats and a very warm, cozy hour chatting with drinks and treats. Strongly recommend grabbing a bag of freshly roasted beans to go!

I paid my first visit to Vent on an especially cold (19 degrees) February morning. The café has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a very neighborly feeling. The clientele is very diverse and everyone is chill – no is demanding or overflowing with self-importance. The music is pleasant and relaxing, and not too loud.
The café has a bar area with outlets which is perfect for working on a laptop for a while, and it features seating in the hallway outside. I look forward to coming here to work remotely, as well as relax with a good novel.

After a morning climbing session next door I usually stop by and get a Matcha Tea Latte and either the salmon and cream cheese or the peanut butter and banana on toast. All are fantastic plus the staff is very nice. Highly recommended!

Vent is hands down the best coffee in Baltimore, possibly the best on the east coast. Ethically imported coffee, and the head roaster, Sarah Walker, has honed her craft to a perfection. I will never be able to drink any coffee from anywhere else ever again. A fun open space is inviting, and comfortable. Great place to hang out.

We ordered boxed coffee for a party and everyone was like, “this is really great coffee, where’s it from!?”
It was also cheaper than well-known chain store boxed coffee - and far, far tastier!
