We stopped in just for coffee to go but won't be back. We ordered one small and one large coffee, both dark roast. They were over priced (over $6 total!) and so weak! Basically over-priced dirty dishwater.

First time there today for breakfast ....wow going there for rest of vacation

Loved this place. The blueberry pancakes and french toast were great. Staff was friendly.

Unexpected gem. Staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and inviting (it’s hard to find this when you stumble in with a brood of 7). Blew us away with their breakfast and lunch menu. Owners were very attentive and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

The Coastal Cafe is a cozy place in a sleepy town on the Mid-Coast of Maine. From the moment you walk in, you'll get a friendly greeting, and guided to a place to sit. Whether you get coffee, a mimosa (or both) is up to you, they do serve caffeine and alcohol, so whatever it takes to get the morning started, Coastal Cafe has it. We've eaten their a few times, and never had anything less than great food. Whatever you order, you must have the "smashed red potatos". The artwork on the walls shows the historical side of Maine, and is worth a second glance. Finally, the staff makes you feel at home, and are always welcoming. If you live nearby and haven't been, you're missing out. If you're a tourist, it's worth a stop, especially after dealing with him highway 1 traffic.

Cute and quaint. The orange sticky buns and scones are homemade daily and the coffee is fresh and hot. The service is excellent - the young woman behind the counter was so nice and helpful, even to a guy who needed directions and wasn't buying anything. And she stays open past 11am so we were lucky.

The food is delicious! They locally source everything they can, too. The service is casual, you order at the counter, but they deliver the food.
Patrick and Celine are hands-on owners with great personalities. If you're traveling through Searsport, DO NOT MISS the chance to stop in!

Went here on the morning of a big snowstorm (before the weather hit), for a little treat. Great coffee and cinnamon rolls. Hubby had a plain and I had roll infused with orange (my favorite). Pasteries were fresh and coffee was hot, and prices were reasonable. If my waistline can handle it, I'll go again!

The servers are very friendly and attentive. I had the Reuben sandwich, which was pretty delicious! Homemade Rye, tender Corned Beef, and Morse's sauerkraut; you can't go wrong. The hand cut fries were perfectly crispy and salted just right. The housemade pickles were ok (but just because I don't like bell peppers). The brine was nice and vinegary. The burger my friend had looked really good. Rare, just the way he asked for it. I will definitely come back to try the breakfast menu, and new dinner menu!

What a gem! We had a wonderful breakfast of blueberry pancakes and fresh fruit. They use all local products when possible. Coffee was superb. Staff was friendly. Great interior vibe.
