Coastal Cafe & Bakery

Expectations were pretty high based on reviews. We basically enjoyed our breakfast but it didn't quite live up to the hype. Those cinnamon buns looked so good but they were a bit dry. I enjoyed my BST (bacon, spinach and tomato). My wife's omelet as fluffy and tasty as advertised but looses points for being watery. Staff was very nice. We will probably be back, if only to try the bagels.

Had the corned beef hash with red potatoes. Fantastic, large portion. Bread was even above par. Customer service was excellent, following covid protocols and appreciated not using plastic utensils. (Wood) recommend it. +++++

Probably the best croissants I've ever had. Excellent for a breakfast sandwich. Fresh squeezed orange juice is worth the price. Not a greasy-spoon type of place. Fresh and tasty ingredients that don't simply rely on butter and oil to taste good.

Great breakfast items. Friendly service. They had my order ready for pick up on time and it the restaurant had a fun vibe for dine in. I would be a repeat customer.

Coastal café is an excellent diner that really takes pride in the fact that they use local produce for the dishes that they create. Patrick and Celine, the owners, run a very clean and inviting diner. I've been a regular there for the past two years and can tell that they put love into every dish they cook. I love the omelette with feta cheese and any vegetables that are in season and I would highly recommend it. However they do have other items on their menu that are very very delicious!!! It is so so nice to have a diner in Maine that does not use iceberg lettuce, enough said I think!

Yes, you will enjoy your eggs again. Something new, rather rich choices, all tastes good.

It was an unplanned stop( we are a family of 4 from Florida, roadtripping Maine and Canada) i had no service on my phone and couldn't do any research. So, we just walked in. We were pleasantly surprised that this bakery could accommodate gluten free, dairy free, sugar free diet for my daughter and all other specifics of other family members.
Blubbery pancake was fantastic. Beef was delicious. Omelette was beautiful and fresh.
Stuff is friendly and super accommodating.
I wish they will get latte machine and serve the specialty coffee. Otherwise, the place is great!

Everything tastes great! I miss going in (pancakes were amazing!), they got me totally hooked on the apple sandwich... but it is still open for coffee and excellent baked goods.

Visited this morning. Just for a coffee but had to have a scone. Oh my so delicious. I had walnut and apricot. Yum.

Stopped here for a quick breakfast, I had a cinnamon roll which was very tasty. My husband had bacon and eggs with rye toast which he too enjoyed. If we’re in the area again we will definitely stop back.
