Beach Bagels

They are kinda slow and the food is nothing to right home about. But they open early, have great personalities and are located well. I’d say the price is fair for a vacation spot. Not a ‘go to everyday’ price, but fine for a week without feeling like you are overspending.

At the very least, pop in and look at the menu. It changes from time to time (which I view as a good thing).

Outdoor seating is nice, but a bit scary in a busy parking lot with often bad drivers.

A health food-oriented restaurant would probably not survive in Old Orchard Beach. It is difficult to find any thing other than fried foods and pizza in town. We were thrilled to come across Beach Bagels as an option.

We were able to order some standard sandwiches that were quickly prepared from a selection of breads in the middle of the afternoon. This restaurant seems like it is mostly geared toward breakfast with the bagels and a good selection of freshly-brewed coffees for self-serve; the coffees were fresh and hot.

There is limited two-person tables inside, but plenty of tables outside. Prices are reasonable; lunch for three was about $25 or so. The outdoor seating on the edge of a paved parking lot could stand to be upgraded to a raised wooden deck or something similar. It would be a great improvement and make eating there a more pleasant experience.

Unisex bathroom was functional and clean.

Very good pastrami sandwich, bacon cheddar burger, and Caesar salad. We enjoyed the lunch.

The food here is fresh and delicious. On our vacation our family members ate here many times. You can eat in or sit outside. The location is in the center up one street from the Pier. We highly recommend Beach Bagels.

Great food and service. Salads are excellent.

Great local shop. Staff was very friendly and efficient (something all New Yorkers appreciate). Ended up getting muffins, coffee rolls, and coffee. The coffee rolls were clearly freshly made. Plus, reasonably priced. Not culinary science, but for what it is, this place was perfect.

The Best Lil Breakfast & Lunch Menu around and prices too as these guys know how to make a filling sandwich or you could just come in and get an ice cream or soft drinks they also provide free parking for dining in or outside at #1 of there tables and ALL OF THE WORKERS I've ever met have been the most accommodating and nicest people including the owner himself plus they do have 1 very nice and clean restroom available inside if needed.

Hands down our absolute first stop, every morning on vacation. It's tradition! BEST iced coffee and smoothies! Love the big breakfasts, French toast and fresh fruit cups!!
