Located at 7 Main St, Deer Isle, ME 04627, 44 North Coffee - Deer Isle Café is a women-owned and operated coffee roaster and café that has been serving the community for years. The café is open year-round from Monday to Saturday, and it is a perfect spot for coffee lovers to get their daily fix of caffeine. The café is closed on Sundays.
The café offers a unique coffee experience that is hard to find elsewhere. The way they make their coffee is so unique and delicious, and their pastries are amazing as well. They use their own roasted beans, which are of high quality and freshly brewed. The café is a classic Maine coffee shop that will amaze all who enter.

I placed an order for the sampler pack to be mailed to my daughter. I made LOTS of mistakes in the order (all my fault). This wonderful company worked so hard to resolve my issues and get the order processed quickly. This kind of customer service is hard to find. I'm very appreciative.

Visiting the area from NJ and stopped here to grab a mocha on a Tuesday afternoon. I was told that they didn't have mocha but she could make me a "mocha sorta kinda coffee" to which I happily agreed to have. After being told that I had the option of picking my own coffee and having it poured over brewed (?) or what was already made in house, I decided to have what was already brewed since I'm not a coffee pro! I just drink it! I was happy with my coffee creation and was super impressed with the friendliness of the staff and their knowledge. Oh, and the place smelled so good! Even though it was a brief stop, I would come back here again.

This place is almost....Magical!. In a beautiful town of Deer Isle, ME two creative and courageous women took a dream and created a reality. And not only is their coffee great, but they are big into community which is every persons moral responsibility. So, great concept, great coffee, great location, great social face and great people all come together in ONE GREAT EXPERIENCE.

Perfectly roasted coffees from all over the world. Great coffee by the cup with excellent baked goods on an Island lacking both before Melissa and Megan started 44. Go. Stay.

Even if it wasn't the only place to get coffee in town, it would be an excellent choice. First-class roasters, fair trade, and delicious coffee. Treats were good and the staff is awesome and friendly.

My favorite coffee in the world.
Fair trade, roasted in house, so good that I have a couple lbs shipped to our home in Cincinnati at least once a year.
Thanks ladies!

Some of the best coffee I've ever had. Nothing beats a warm cup to sip while gazing over the harbor. Their coffee only adds to the beauty of Deer Isle.
