For a long long time, it's been very hard to find good coffee in Blue Hill. Green Mountain crystals, anyone? I've gotten used to settling for bad coffee here, or just ordering long-distance Peet's. So imagine my shock when I walked in to Bucklyn Coffee a few weeks ago and found David, with a variety of his own single-origin roasts from some of my favorite coffee-growing parts of the world. David clearly pays a *lot* of attention to his roasts, and was happy to discuss roasting times, coffee/water ratios, and country characteristics. I'm over the moon about Bucklyn Coffee, and I wish them a long and fruitful tenure. Hey Bangor... can you hear me? Drive down to Blue Hill to get some really good coffee.

Always delicious and great customer service. Just today I went to get a cup of drip coffee but only got a half pour. The barista made me an americano for the same price. Their hot chocolate and chai is a great warmer upper in the winter, too.

Fun little downtown coffee shop.
Coffee is served very hot!

Maine is so strange. Cold brew nitro, amazing roasts and espresso pulls, warm and inviting tiny little shop. You could get this quality in Manhattan or San Francisco but instead it's just a dedicated fellow out here practicing his craft down by the harbor. Worth a detour. He also sets up at the Blue Hill Winter Market and a cortado goes amazingly well from the Tinder Hearth baked goods at the next booth...

Tiny coffee shop conveniently located in Blue Hill, with espresso (unlike the 44 North establishments in the area) and homemade treats. A nice quick stop on the way on or off Deer Isle. No bathroom, though.

Daniel, the owner, is so passionate and knowledgeable about coffee. He roasts his own beans and you can tell when you put that cup to your mouth. Fantastic coffee. Thank you.

Best espresso I've had in a long time. Always a good sign when they stop, say "That one's not good enough," adjust the grind and start over. It was like a coffee caramel...

Best coffee I’ve tried in Maine so far! Their specialty drinks like the Spanish latte and the maple latte are amazing.

Excellent cappuccino when you’re there. The online ordering has been awesome! Very much addicted!

Maple latte was excellent! Stopped here on our way to Acadia while in Maine on vacation.
