Had a needlessly bad experience with Mae's. Called ahead to be added to the seating list and was told there was a 30-40 minute wait. When we showed up we were told it would be another 30-40 minutes. 20 minutes into that wait we were informed they were no longer seating and wouldn't have a table for us at all.

We visited Mae’s Cafe yesterday after years of going here, this was our first visit under new ownership. Everything was outstanding, including the service! The Boss Benedict, Renee’s Benedict, sweet potato bowl and blueberry stuffed French toast were all delectable! Cannot recommend this place more highly!

Food was great, but it took a long time to be seated for Friday lunch. By the time we had been seated it was nearly 2pm, at which time the coffee supply is cut off. We were able to purchase the leftover stock, but found out no refills were available. The waiter told us "We are out of coffee and we don't make more after 2." There was a vibe of 'we want you out of here.'

What an amazing experience! Julie was just the sweetest human. Cute cafe with an amazing history, definitely worth a visit!

Very misleading, went for breakfast at 1030 on a Wednesday and menu was limited to maybe 20% of what it says they have on their online menu. Very disappointing, choices were boring and they wouldn't even make substitutions, and no notice when we arrived they were serving such a limited menu and waitress basically said that's all there is ... too bad.

The best corned beef hash ever! Home fries, eggs, pancakes, and oatmeal with blueberries, are some of things others in my party ordered and they thoroughly enjoyed them. Prompt, attentive service. Able to handle large parties. Highly recommended!

Great breakfast place in a fun quirky house. The lamb sausage was amazing. In fact would recommend it with a sunny side up egg. The lemon blueberry French toast was quite good. Great ambience. We would go there again.

The French toast was good, but the lamb sausage was so dried out. It looks as if they cook it ahead of time and when it’s ordered, they throw it in the microwave…even the server said they get complaints!!

Great food and great atmosphere. We love the eclectic environment that Mae's provides. After enjoying a delicious breakfast we are always likely to leave with a scrumptious baked good or two to enjoy later in the day!

Consistently one of the best breakfast spots for two decades. Benedicts are spot on. Corned Beef Hash never disappoints. It is a well run establishment.
