Was on a short trip to the Bar Harbor area and met some friends from the area for breakfast. Great that it is open off season. Extra special that the food was excellent.....We all have various breakfast sandwiches and all were great tasting all coffees were very good as well....service was fast and efficient everyone was very friendly as well....Would highly recommended for a quick good breakfast...also highly recommended for the coffee as well

I actually really like this place but make sure If you charge upwards up $6 for a latte that the person who's actually making the Latte's has proper training in doing so. This Latte did not taste right at all and I don't wanna be a douche and make the person feel bad but constructive criticism is always good. It basically tastes like watered down coffee with foam on top

And btw ... who serves lunch sandwiches but closes kitchen at 11? Am I the only one who thinks that's odd?

Open during December! Fast service, good prices, and the breakfast sandwiches and coffee were fantastic. Sumatran coffee in particular stood out, and the protein whole wheat bagel was delicious.

Good covid safety precautions, masks required and there's a full sneeze barrier between patrons and staff.

Highly recommend.

Very small coffee shop that serves pastries and sandwiches. The coffee and chai here were good. Very limited seating available inside.

We got the blueberry pie, blueberry muffin, and chocolate croissant. I’m always trying chocolate croissants everywhere. This was by far the most delicious chocolate croissant I’ve ever had, and likely ever will have- in my life. I forgot to get it warmed up and eating it cold was still the best croissant I’ve ever had! The blueberry muffin was good, but the pie and croissant knocked it out of the water. The pie was perfectly flavored and fresh. I’d never had blueberry pie before and was super weary of it, but figured my first one should be the best quality possible, and while in Maine. I don’t regret that one bit and I don’t think I’ll ever try it again until I’m back in Maine eating it from A slice of Eden.

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat before hiking in Acadia National Park, and this piece of heaven did not disappoint! Get there early if you want to try their croissants, as they ran out by the time we got there (around 9:30-10). I ordered a “western style” breakfast sandwich on a home-made cheddar bagel, and I was blown away by how delicious it was. Highly highly recommend!!!

Bait and switch!
I was recently shopping in Bar Harbor. I purchased a very nice coffee mug from this shop. I chose one prominently positioned by the register. A sales representative took my money and presented me with a box. I assumed this would be a coffee mug similar to the one I had picked out. It turned out to be a much cheaper mug. Buyer beware!

This was our favorite breakfast place in town during our visit to MDI! We really appreciated the vegan options, and enjoyed the homey atmosphere and friendly relaxed service. The clear COVID precautions were also appreciated! We had awesome breakfast bagel sandwiches with veggie sausage and I tried the raspberry mocha (a delight). The perfect fuel-up for a long day of hiking in the national park. The vegan rosemary lemon biscuits were incredible--chewy, subtle flavors, and not too crumbly. Before we left town, we picked up a bag of day-old bagels to take home!

We just did a huge order today for a team meeting with 10+ sandwiches and beverages. Considering how each sandwich had unique instructions, the staff did a wonderful job getting them all correctly! They were professional, friendly and patient and the food was delicious! Can I give them 15 stars!

Great, family owned, bakery on Cottage Street in Bar Harbor. It is one of my favorite places to get breakfast, the breakfast sandwiches are delicious, but my go to order is the salt and pepper bagel toasted with their homemade veggie cream cheese. I call my order in because I know how busy Bar Harbor is. I love their friendly service, Charity usually sings me a few notes of my favorite song.
