Love the people & this place! Family friendly environment. Staff are so welcoming & hospitable. In general, food is usually great, if not they will correct the issue. Lots of great dishes too choose from. Specials cooked daily! Sit indoors or on the covered screened in patio! Bands on the weekends.

Well... when reading the majority of the reviews, you would think you would want to try this restaurant. Most of the reviews seem to be good. The ambience, restaurant itself and staff were all good. The service was very slow. Although the staff was nice, the food was awful. The fried catfish was not good, did not have very good seasoning. The french fries were too salty and was overpriced for what you got. The salad was OK. I do not think that this restaurant is worth recommending and will not be going back, not because of the service, but because the food was awful. Overall I was very disappointed and left unsatisfied.

Perfect example of an one-of-a-kind local joint in a small town, the kind of place that should not be overlooked.

Fried Alligator Bites were Awesome, Shimp Po Boy wasn't too bad, the lettuce was very sparingly applied and room temperature warm, so were the very thinly sliced, half tomato slices, Shrimp was good, Bread was Awesome.
The condiments should have been cold and the Shrimp Warm, Not the other way Around. Prices were too high for subpar Quality Food. Waitress needs lesson in Manners and ATTITUDE!!!

Great food, delicious menu, great service. I would have given 5 stars but the place was crowded, even at lunchtime!

A little gem in the crown of St Francisville, a historic town that is overflowing with southern hospitality, home to the Feliciana Masonic Lodge, and annual civil war reenactments. The magnolia cafe is the place to eat, great food and great service you could not ask for more.

Food is consistently awesome and the servers are great!

Great food, great staff and fun atmosphere. I'll be honest even if the food was bad (it is delicious) you'd still love this place. We were there on a Saturday night and they had live music which was fantastic. If you are in town stop in for a great time, delicious food and quick service.

We went twice in one weekend. The food is good, you have different choices. I had the special the Drum fish 🐟 with creamed potatoes, smothered yellow squash, and a side salad. We will be visiting again!

Wonderful food, great service, and a great location. Do yourself a favor by spending the night at the adjacent 3V Motor Court - a cool little throw back in time!
