The Mag. The Mag is legendary in this small part of Louisiana. The sandwiches are great, the plates are amazing and the sweet potato fries send other sweet potato fries cowering into dark corners. It's a casual joint with a huge back porch that is both heated and cooled through alchemy. Have a great meal, leave stuffed and on your way out get one of their cookies, which are the size of the hubcaps on a Smart Car.

This restaurant that has seen its better days. The food is OK (used to be great) but the service is poor to say the least. Sad. At one time it was a destination place.

Best sandwich I've had recently. Friendly, fast, affordable.

Great atmosphere. Fast and super friendly service. The food was delicious. This is the kind of place you look for in a small town like this. A+++.

Great fast service! Our server Shay was too funny! I highly recommend the gator bites super tasty and the sauce! Enjoyed a great night out on the patio š #supportLOCAL

Try the spicy shrimp poboy. It is amazing! 10 out of 10 would come again. The fried oysters were also excellent. Great food all around and friendly service.

You're better off getting a burger at McDonald's. It's cheaper and the same quality. The sweet potato fries were really good and the pizza was good. All in all I'm sure you could find a better local establishment.

Good local food with large portions. Well known for their sensation salad. Menu has variety to accommodate everyone. Always has entertainment on Saturday evenings.

I donāt even know where to start. Iāve tried a lot of place serving Poboys. One of the most disgusting one was in New Orleans on Magazine street (just my humble and French and sassy point of view). I donāt recall the name of the place but it seemed like it was a well known spot to have Poboys in the city. Dry and low quality bread, blend shrimps etc...
Letās talk about Magnolia. I ordered the spicy shrimp Poboy with a house salad. Here is the thing. You might ask me how can people mess up a sandwich with some shrimps with a couple of salad leafs right in the middle or a simple house salad. Well, a lot of places do. That was not the case there. Everyone tasted like quality, homemade and fresh food. The bread was amazing, it tasted more like a brioche to me. Soft but not soggy, tasty, buttery. The right amount of sauce and spices, perfectly seasoned and cooked shrimps. Amazing. Letās talk about the house salad. Guys. Your vinaigrette. I mean, who can compete with a vinaigrette like this one? Olive oil, balsamic vinegar, herbs, garlic (I might have for the receipt wrong but well it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G). Each ingredient was perfectly proportioned. This place is a little gem and the staff is also very friendly. Keep up the good work guys.

Went There For Lunch Around 12 With 4 Other Guys 2 white 2 others black, Was Given a table sorta in a forgotten corner. Took About 15 Minutes Before A Waiter Came To Ask For Our Drinks, Took A Whole Damn Hour For Them To Bring The Food, & Instead Of Telling Us There Had Been A Food Mix Up Early On, The Waiter Waited Till Almost The 45 Minute Mark. When They Brought The Food Out I Had Ordered Fries , They Were Nowhere In Sight , I Had To Remind Them That I Ordered Them. Before I Had ALL Of My Food It Had Been
1 Hour And 10 Minutes Since Walking Through The Door. I'm Not Usually A Person Who Likes To Manipulate Anyone Else But I Felt Atleast A Percentage Of The Ticket Should Have Been Taken Off.. The Only Thing The Waiter Offered Complementary Was 1 Housemade Cookie For Each One Of Us.... We Were From Out Of Town & This Was Out First And Last Time Dining There.
