Pontilly is one of those places that feels like a home away from home. The service is impeccable, the food and drinks are superb, and the atmosphere is second to none. I LOVE this place and will continue to bring my business meetings there.

Staff super nice and efficient. Did highlight their information at our health and resources fair on June 30th at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 6154 Press Dr. where all are welcome to share in God's grace and love. Services are 10 am on Sun. and bible study each Wed. at 6 pm.

I love having Pontilly Coffee in our neighborhood! I can't comment on the coffee, but their tea is wonderful. The real bright spot for me is the NOLA-ches (personally, my favorite is spinach & feta). Croissants, cinnamon rolls, turnovers, and muffins are all delicious too!

I love Pontilly Coffee and would recommend to anyone wanting a local place to grab a cup of coffee.
Pros:
Friendly staff. This is a Christian ministry and you get to know the baristas by name. Everyone is very open and will to talk to you. That is a market improvement from other coffee shops in the city where the staff barely tolerates your presence. Pretentious hipster sensibilities aren’t welcome here.
Pastry selection: The selection is diverse and all made in-house. They always seem fresh and soft.
Coffee: Unlike other coffee shops in the city, they don’t use a hard French roast. The iced coffee here is smooth and light, something I’m very happy with. The coffee here isn’t bitter or too strong and that’s a definite plus. Espresso is mediocre but worth it all the same.
Community Participation: The place embraces community involvement with local civic meetings, church events et al hosted here. They’ve made themselves a name here and I love that the care about the community.
Patio: They have a patio with covered seating. Doesn’t get much better than that.
Cons:
Atmosphere. I come during the evenings and afternoons, and the music is painfully loud. The music selection is mediocre pop radio hits so it can get intrusive when I’m trying to read or do work or have meetings during low traffic times. I am not the only one who feels this way, as others have expressed their aversion to going for that reason alone.
Parking: Parking is extremely limited and during peak hours you may be forced to park far away to get inside.

You all are perfect!! Every single person was pleasant and warm at 6:30am. I'm not a coffee drinker but I did go in for breakfast. What I discovered were their Nolaches! The variety is plenty so I ordered many. Let's start with the Spicy Shrimp.. it is seasoned to perfection! The veggies(red, green and yellow bell peppers, onion and I'm sure I'm missing some) inside were sauteed to perfection along the shrimp and the flavor is rich. Next up is the Southwest Chicken which has beans, corn, veggies with a southwest sauce to accompany the nolache. Last up was the spinach and feta nolache which was much lighter than the other two but absolutely delicious especially with the left over sauce from the SW chicken nolache. I haven't had a chance to try anything else yet but the muffins and the pies(I eyeballed the apple pie) look amazing. The prices are beyond reasonable and the food is filling. I wish I had 2 extra 🏅🏅 to give them. I'm a fan and a forever customer!

I find myself in a rather unusual predicament when it comes to this incredible coffee shop. The reason for this... This establishment is so comfortable that it feels like home. (I don't want to leave) Worth the trip from anywhere on any journey passing through the state of Louisiana and the city of New Orleans. Please stop by and say hello to some credible people who are doing great things for their community & their lives by serving up great Food & Coffee while making you feel like you never left your home. Tell them ~V. Sent you. 😎
