A lovely little neighborhood coffee shop right off St Claude in the Bywater. The owner was friendly and welcoming. The coffee is good, and the blueberry muffins are filled with blueberries and made in-house!

It is always bittersweet to leave New Orleans. The weather, on this day, seemed appropriate for the occasion. It was foggy and gloomy!

That said, as you step inside Malimo Coffee, things are brighter! This café - on St. Claude is a wonderful spot.

We picked up some wonderful muffins, a latte and a tea for the first leg of the journey home!

The service is wonderful! Can’t wait to visit again!

Top rate coffee and espresso drinks including muffins and donuts made in-house from natural ingredients, made by people who really know how to turn out an espresso machine. Note this is a cafe that closes early around 3 p.m.
Highly recommended

Great low-key friendly spot. Vegan glutin-free donuts - wow! I'm not vegan or gluten intolerant, nor particularly fond of donuts, but I could have their apple spice donut every morning with the excellent Latte they serve up!

Small shop, amazing staff, great coffee! Don’t sleep on the vegan donuts. They are my favorite.

This is an excellent new addition to the Bywater. The owner Mac very friendly and as casual. He roasts in-house as it is Excellent coffee. Full bodied, not too acidic and great taste. The space he designed is beautiful- lots of light and very quiet.
See for yourself how good it is.

Beautiful new spot. I waited too long to check it out even though it opened about a month ago. Fresh roasted coffee with delicious healthy pastries. Owner and space, both good vibes. Please stay open longer!

The decor and interior design are well thought out and executed. They roast and serve their own coffee which I respect. The coffee is delicious and the gentleman behind the counter is always super friendly! Glad it moved into the neighborhood 🙂

Drip is Chemex, open-front upright, spends Saturday roasting, and the machiatto was served with a dollop. Opened Ash Wednesday.
