This was our first bite to eat in New Orleans. We looked for something near our hotel. I was a bit skeptical with the name, but the previous reviews were good so we have it a shot. We had a BLT w/ avocado, a tasty shrimp po' boy with collard greens and New Orleans BBQ sauce, and some out of this world mac-n-cheese. And the service was FAST!

Food was amazing! I got the chicken gouda sandwich and my husband got the roast beef... both were delicious. They also have some bottles of wine at really great prices. Highly recommend!

I absolutely loveeee The Store. I can’t even count how many times I’ve eaten here within the past few months. You can’t go wrong with the gumbo nor the shrimp and grits! A must try if you’re ever in the Metairie area. Btw...these are the best grits I’ve ever had!

Pretty sure this is my SECOND review of this place because I love it so much. My husband and I have been trying different things each weekend on the menu, and literally everything is outstanding. We've had: caprese sandwich, red beans, fried oyster & brie poboy, cuban sandwich, candied pecan and goat cheese salad, turkey and brie sandwich, potato salad, and chicken fingers with waffle fries. ALL of these items have exceeded our expectations and will keep us going back to try more dishes or repeat order the above. We ordered the waffle fries for our son and were jealous we hadn't got some for ourselves they were soooo good! If you haven't tried this place out yet I implore you to do so immediately! You will not be disappointed.

Go early or go late for lunch, this place is always packed and for good reason. The staff does a great job of getting orders out and they even deliver when you don't want to deal with the rush. The lunch menu is great offering a variety of NOLA classics and some tasty variations with sandwiches and salads. Their breakfast items are a good start to the morning as well. Definitely be sure stop by in the morning or for lunch if you're in the area!

This place is perfect if you want a great meal, mostly sandwiches, and don't want a long drawn out lunch. They have a spin on a lot of classic sandwiches and their soups are great too. Their food is consistently good and they have sweet tea if you like that sort of thing. It can get crowded and noisy at lunch but that is just a testament to the quality. It's so popular that the owner opened up another place a block or two away called Reuben's with almost the same menu. He's basically replicating a proven popular formula for a successful restaurant.

Gumbo was served to go with no bread or crackers. It was also extremely salty and the gravy was slightly burnt.... Wouldn't recommend this place.

Always delicious…classic Cajun dishes along with great salad and sandwich options that rival the best any white table service has to offer.

Good food, quick service. I get the Smoked salmon salad or the Shrimp and Avocado salad. I have gotten the lunch specials a couple of times. Good and decent price, but just tooooo much food for lunch. I would prefer just a bit smaller and lower price.

Great spot for lunch. I was next door getting my iPhone fixed and the guy who checked me in said to go next door and get the Cuban sandwich. Did not disappoint. This spot is staying in the lunch rotation for sure.
