Dixie Cafe at Houmas House and Gardens

Such great food. I especially love the Bourbon Shrimp. It comes with fresh peas and potatoes. The presentation is on point with a little flower. I took my mom here for mother's day and she was impressed. We enjoyed walking through the garden at the Houmas House after our meal

Great food and atmosphere!

Fried green tomatoes were excellent. Eggplant and crab was amazing! The tour and grounds were also great.

My friend and I were the only Asian people at the day, and the experience was awful. The servers never worn the mask and they pretended they cannot understanding what we said. They never gave the drink menue although I asked for that. Although the food were ready, they never called my name.

Always so good! Cane vinegar salad dressing is amazing. We love the poboys (especially the oyster!) and the eggplant Napoleon is out of this world! Don't miss the dragonfly biscuits and pecan molasses butter!

Excellence is their motto for me. The food was so good. The service was top notch. Can't leave there with trying the bread pudding. The price was better than I expected.

Amazing service and delicious food that could beat many expensive restaurants- blew my expectations- the shrimp main course in particular was delicious, with great touches such as pecans within the salted butter (accompanying the warm biscuit and bread).

The food was good but it was just warm, not hot. Service was good.
