Cafe Du Monde Covington

Absolutely amazing beignets and coffee!!! Friendly staff, small dining area, but clean and lovely. I hope to go again one day. (I live no where near one, and was visiting)

The beignets were wonderful, and the mocha coffee was fabulous. I could not eat all three of mine.

I was born and raised in New Orleans so I was raised up on cafe DU monde. I love that I live out here and can still enjoy them

Small staff doing everything to get fresh beignets to a long line of customers. It tasted as good as the OG location... But the atmosphere is obviously different.

Love beignets, but this place needs to learn how to clean!!! You can see where they wiped down the tables with dirty water, and the place was very dirty.

A bit disappointing. Beignets were hot and fresh but it was disappointing that nothing else was offered besides coffee or milk. The beignets tasted just like any other beignet or donut. Glad we got to experience the Louisiana treat though.

Great place when Tina isn’t here! Awesome staff, delicious fresh beignets, and their characteristic coffee. Lovely patio to sit out on and enjoy a treat.

The cafe au lait was nowhere near what I remember when I was young. When I was young it was strong and rich with cream. This is weak and I cannot tell if what they put in it was cream or a little milk. Of course this is not the one in the French Market.

The store is clean and has a nice, relaxing, comfortable atmosphere. There are only 2 receptacles to plug your electronics in. I will come back but I won't order the cafe au lait.

The location was dirty. They were clearly understaffed, so service was also very slow.

Got charged $2 for a soda refill. 😡 Just not a very good experience over all.

Delicious beignets, cafe au lait and atmosphere! Highly recommend stopping by this location for a great taste of a New Orleans classic!
