Great atmosphere!! Live for the Cinderella lattes on the patio at City Roots. Love sitting in the courtyard to enjoy beautiful mornings. Really a pretty place, however the flower beds suddenly disappeared. Maybe they are putting in ones with more flowers. Love to see a brewery at Electric Depot.

Nice place to hang out with great ramen and dessert nearby!

Electric depot is the perfect location. It’s located close to downtown and the interstate. I love the style of the unit. It’s has a modern industrial feel. Very few people know it is a residential building. It’s very private. I love how there is a bowling venue and coffee shop attached to the residential building. I’m looking forward to the new restaurants opening.

I have loved every minute of deciding to place a business at electric depot, so much so that I also got a residential unit. I chose here for the historic and beautiful industrial style of the building but as well as the location, upgrades and the growth potential of the surrounding area. Im literally 2 minutes from the interstate in either direction. Mid city is fun and vibrant with many more businesses relocating here daily. The construction was a pain at first but that just means the area is growing. I can take a quick elevator down and be at work as well as enjoy bowling and drinks at Red Stick Social. My fiancé' is a coffee head and absolutely loves City Roots being next door. I tasted Boru's ramen during white light night when they had samples and it was amazing. Sweet Society is putting a great spin on Baton Rouge Dessert scene. I also had great tacos during white light night from Blue Corn. There is literally anything you want within 5 minutes of this place. Marlee is very familiar with Mid City and she puts on awesome events for the residents and businesses here. I have sat under the stars and watched Harry Potter outside on a huge movie screen. There is no place like this in Baton Rouge besides Electric Depot. I absolutely love the community feel you get here. I have lived in Houston & Atlanta and can tell you that these apartments could easily go for double. Im looking forward to everything Electric depot is becoming in Mid City. I don't plan on going anywhere. I have had a few minor issues as to be expected with a new build, especially a newly renovated historical property but Nicole has been amazing and gets you taken care of right away. Ive saw her first hand stop her own family life to assure that I was taken care of. You will not regret living or attending events here.

I was one of the first tenants here at Electric Depot and I must say, I love the progression it has made. It’s very quite, well kept and new things are popping up daily. The staff is amazing if I ever need anything the response is very timely. I love the fact that I can just walk downstairs and grab a cup of coffee in the morning or go bowling with friends in the evening. I’m excited for what’s to come with future development

Red Stick Social is a really cool place. While I didn't go into the main hub, it was incredible to see a campus of local restaurants and shops with a "social park," vibe. And everywhere I looked there was more to see. Praying it makes it through Covid now that it's the last hope of having one of those newfangled Millennial Food Courts.

Very cool atmosphere! Great local boutique shopping mixed with restaurants and coffee shop. Good shopping for LSU gear and more.

From the first week I moved in there were issues living at Electric Depot. From the cable/internet, constant construction, driving gate has been broken for months, no security codes on the walking gates, the doorknob broke in the mailroom, the front door to the complex was broken for months. The sound travels throughout the building, so any noise in the hallway, downstairs, apartment next door you can hear. The tub and shower are poorly constructed; it is separating from the wall and the complex was just built! I am the first person to live in my unit. Overpriced for what you are getting especially when it comes to security and construction. Not to mention the apartment was not professionally cleaned before I moved in. Whatever the construction workers left behind was in my unit, sawdust everywhere and the floors had dirt all over.

Highly recommend disregarding all the Karen reviews on here. This is a wonderful, historic hub with great ambient qualities. Definitely what Baton Rouge needs. Keep expanding!!!!!

LACK OF SECURITY
Not sure why there have been gates placed on the property when there aren't being used. The driving gate is always open & the walking gate has no keypad. I’d advise not signing a lease here if safety is a priority.
