The Creme Coffee House

Used to be a really nostolgic feeling place, something about it made you feel good when you were there. Now there are chairs that stretch awkwardly high that would make perfect sense in a 60's or 70's themed place but not a coffee shop. The Spot seems to look much more appealing and homey. Also not very impressed with the way management has handled things thus far.

My past experiences would rate the coffee shop higher. I always try to support local and always visit The Creme when in town visiting family. Unfortunately the owner was working today and not wearing a mask despite the state mask mandate being still in force.

I will preface this by saying I have been coming here for over 10 years and have always been a big fan of The Creme.. however, the last few times I have been here I have not been greeted whatsoever. I came today and waited for ~10 min before being told they were out of coffee & it would be 30-40 minutes before the manager could bring them some. The employees seemed really overwhelmed & frustrated by the lack of preparation. They also charge extra to use a card, which does not make sense to me in a cashless world.

I will start off by saying I’m a condiment and veggie kinda girl! I got the Lil’ Porky. Ham, salami, pepperoni, cheese on rye(I believe). No veggies, no condiments. It was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! I saved half and ate the rest another day with mayonnaise, spicy mustard, and kens house Italian dressing (too lazy to cut up some veggies). Omg!!! Move over Subway!!! Grab an Island Time smoothie also! You won’t be disappointed! Perfect location for a picnic by the park/River!! I can’t wait to return!

Excellent coffee and friendly staff

Staff was very welcoming and the food was delicious. The ambience makes for a great study spot or hang out spot with friends and family.

My hazelnut creme latte was very good. We liked the funky decor and comfortable seating areas.

Nice and Quiet place to get a cup of coffee.
The drinks are... extremely sweet. Even with four shots of espresso, i couldn't taste coffee in the rattlesnake drink. My sister's mocha tasted like hot chocolate.

Would try again, but wasn't impressed the first time.

Extremely nice coffee shop the coffee was delicious and the service was great the place looks awesome and has a great feel to it. They saved a lot of the original features of the old building they are in like the old tin ceilings and the brick work, also loved the floors especially in the rest room the new floor matches the old vibe of the coffee shop.

Great space with a lovely outdoor patio seating area. The staff was very friendly and courteous. A selection of board and card games to play. A really excellent place for a cup of coffee and a good conversation. Really what a coffee shop should be.
