Perfect place to relax and drink coffee if your in the area.

Even though it is tucked away in a nondescript suburban shopping center, this Heine Bros location stands shoulder to shoulder with the rest. It is a clean, cozy, well-attended but never crowded coffee shop that is perfect for a meeting or for getting work done. There is ample outdoors seating, and plenty of food options nearby if you crave something more than a scone.

I've been going to Heine Brother's Coffee for a long time. It has great coffee, etc. food and pastries. The atmosphere is relaxed. It is a good place to visit, hang-out, or read. It has ample seating inside and out.

Good coffee, excellent scones. Friendly. Lots of people on their laptops

The staff was extremely helpful. It was my first time trying heines, and I honestly didn’t know what to order. They gave me suggestions and gave me a few minutes to order.
The shop was very clean, and inviting.
I’m excited to go back and try other coffee options

I love Heine Brothers and have been a customer since moving here in 2005. However, the quality of the drinks from Gardiner Lane have drastically declined in the past few months. With a couple of exceptions, the baristas making drinks don’t seem to know how to properly make the drinks they’re serving. They are at best inconsistent. I feel like black coffee is the only thing I can order and know what I’m getting.

Good cup of coffee. However, Heine Brothers has definitely gone down hill over the years imo. Their customer service is very subpar (unfriendly employees are common at Heine Bros), their coffee isn’t really any better than Starbucks, and the store is usually not the cleanest. I used to choose Heine Bros as my go-to place for getting work done, but have since resorted back to Starbucks or other coffee shops around Louisville.
Long story short, give it a shot, but you’ll probably prefer to stick with Starbucks or some other hipster coffee shop instead.

Not all of their baristas believe in saying "thank you," after you pay for your drink. They think that "There you go" is sufficient. When I wrote their manager about this, she said that she would be getting back to me about this problem, but she never did. I then decided that I'd prefer to frequent establishments that appreciate my business, and there are a lot of other coffee shops in Louisville.

Nice little Hidden Gem and St Matthews with great paninis and excellent coffee. The atmosphere is very nice and seating is very open. Plugs all the way around the room for laptops. Great place to study or have a casual meeting.

Excellent friendly and quick service. Plenty food and coffee hot and cold items and then some more.
Ready to eat and drink OTC items as well.
Set up is welcoming, home ambiance indoor and outdoor seating plus ample plaza parking.
Great location.
