Best coffee shop in existence. The holy grail disguised as a cup o' joe. Many look upon the shop to see heaven, and rumor has it, if you stare at the window logo long enough, you will experience complete bliss and content, and thus get lured inside the cave of your dreams.
You will be overwhelmed with the many options and affordable pricing that awaits you. Should you live forever with the Iced Cuban coffee? Will gold and silver pour over your household as the steamed milk pours into your Latte? Or will you reach maximum super human ability by drinking the cucumber lemonade? The feeling is intense, but a decision brings you to the end of your journey. You will leave with compassion. You will leave with happiness. The entirety of your very existence will transcend into immense gratitude, upon which you would have never known, if Blackbeard Espresso hadn't opened your third eye.
I give this place a solid 10/10.

Delicious coffee! The owners are awesome, down-to-earth kind of guys. It really seems like they love what they do, and it shows. It seems like it is a bit pricey, but that hasn't stopped me from making it part of my morning routine.

By far some of the best coffee I've ever had. I haven't had a single bad cup and I come here quite often. The people are super friendly and accommodating and the appearance of the shop is nice as well.

Amazing little coffee shop that was a food truck. I got the Hot Chocolate and really enjoyed it and the staff is amazing. It's in a great place right off main where a lot of people can stop in for a nice peaceful cup of coffee or your preferred drink.

Blackbeard made a great first impression on me. Excellent selection. The Redeye is strong, so be forewarned! The staff was friendly and answered all my questions. Excellent place if you want a quality cup of java!

I’ve lived in Louisville my entire life and I’ve been to just about every coffee shop in town. Blackbeard is definitely the best of the best. Plus the guys behind the counter are super friendly. 6 stars guys!

After skipping a different coffee shop closer to my hotel because it had a snooty “No Decaf” sign in the window, I landed at Blackbeard Espresso and am so glad I did. Excellent coffee, genuine service. And they have decaf.
