The best coffee shop in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area by far. This place defines what a coffee shop should be, used to be, and increasingly isn't. The atmosphere has a good buzz yet is not overwhelmingly loud, allowing one to have a good conversation or engage in deep work. The quality of the coffee selection is amongst the best i've found anywhere, due to the owner and barista's diligence and expertise in sourcing the best from everywhere. Preparation is methodical and served with love. Somehow the combination of bike shop and coffee bar melds together perfectly.

Mark and the staff at Velocity are amazing! Not only are their drinks and baked goods superb, (shout out for the Lavender Honeybee and scones!!!!), but their service is wonderful! Love and support your local coffee shops!

I live in Utah but travel for work to CVG several times a year and always stop in. If the weather is nice, I walk from the hotel (about 1.5 miles). Otherwise, I take a Lyft. I've not been since the remodel but I always enjoy visiting because the espresso is always dialed in perfect. Mark keeps a great variety of beans for pourover and is knowledgeable about the things he's selling. VB&B is the perfect coffee/bike shop. Everyone there is extremely kind and down to earth. I can't wait to check out the remodel. This review brought to you by an actual customer. Proof: They upgraded their machine to a La Marzocco GS3 (I believe) end of last year and the baristas there know how to make it fly.

I was across the street from this coffee/bike shop at the skatepark. I needed to buy a spoke wrench but he didn’t have any tools for sale. He sold me his own for just a couple bucks. Not many places would do that. Mark was personable and we talked some about old bmx bikes. Although I didn’t stay for coffee I noticed there was a warm welcoming atmosphere in his establishment as I was leaving and I can see why.

My only complaint is that it isn't closer to my house. If I could go every day, I would. The atmosphere feels like home, full of welcoming, gentle, positive energy. And the coffee is beyond compare. Thank you to the entire Velocity team for being awesome.

Velocity is a great little local shop. They care about the community and their customers. The coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is fun and inviting. And they're quick to respond on Facebook too. Do yourself a favor and get great coffee at a great place in Florence.

This place has quickly become a favorite! I see the same faces every week. They make quality coffee with unique flavor combinations. You won't find a better coffee shop in NKY. Supporting local businesses is always a plus as well! I love the daily brew! (Nothing too fancy for me) delicious coffee! My best friend from California stops in the shop every time she comes home to visit family and she brought me there. I drovr past it several times before and had no idea this gem was so close to home. Love it!
