Bacon Creek Cafe is a few minutes from I-65. This restaurant is a rare gem. I am happy I did not stop at another exit for fast food. This place has country cooking, tremendous prices, great food and large portions. I food came out shortly after we ordered. Our waitress was attentive. I had chicken and dumplings, green beans, pickled beats and cornbread for $9.25. I also enjoyed their unsweetened tea. The fish looked great from afar as well.

Truly a real backcountry Diner/ restaurant. Filled with a lot of old locals which was fine except there were no smoking laws observed. I didn't have a problem with it but I'm sure others would. We went for breakfast . Price was right food was excellent and hot and service was pleasant but a little slow because there was only one server. Atmosphere was nice also especially if you like to step back into the 60s . Would go back if we were in the area!

Great little cafe out in the middle of nowhere. The food was so delicious. I mean everything had so much flavor. You can tell out in the country. Everything is totally real lol. Nothing like cage, chickens or nothing like that. You could just taste the rich flavor of everything. Absolutely loved it. ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝโค๏ธ

First time here and will be back! Great food at a GREAT price. Felt like family! First time in and felt very welcomed in there. You can tell this is the locals home. Great service, fast, fresh and home cooked meal! Very relaxed atmosphere. All are welcomed! Don't judge the pics. Took a bite and realized how good it was. It looked much better before I dove into it.

Absolute gem tucked away in beautiful rural Kentucky. Today was our first visit and we are beyond stuffed. Hot, fresh, and delicious food of an astounding variety served quickly and with a smile. This place has charm, but also puts its money where your mouth is. Leftovers will make another meal for both of us, so portions are generous. Stop reading, go there now.

We stopped on our way to Mammoth Cave NP coming from Wisconsin. Enjoyed the small town feel, good food, nice staff, and great prices. I encourage anyone in the area or traveling through to give this place a try.

I absolutely love coming here. For the home cooked meals, the price, service, and down home feel of the place you can't go wrong. Only downfall is they can still smoke in the restaurant.

Really great little restaurant. Excellent food, big portions, and low prices. If you're in the area, it's worth the stop.

First time eating there today went with a group of six. Great service our waitress was great even though they were busy she was attentive. Food was great i had the chicken fried steak, green beans, and mashed potatoes. The only thing I would change is instead of brown gravy on the potatoes use the same white gravy that is on the meat. Overall great small town Cafe. Definitely a hidden gem.

The food was great and the staff was very friendly. They had my food out in a flash. Very affordable prices and good portions of country cooked meals.
