Berea Coffee & Tea Co.

Cute place.. It would be nice if their coffee was actually fresh... was there 2 times and they poured me a cup out if an almost empty pot. If I hadn't been getting it to go, I would have either asked for a fresh cup or not gotten it.

I really wanted to like this place but I have met too many people over too wide a span of time to ignore how the owner treats people. The coffee's not worth it.

Great coffee and an even better ambience. If you want to get some work done in a peaceful setting with hot beverages, B C & T is the place to go. Whenever I go to Berea, I make sure to go here once.

Poor quality coffee, entirely overpriced food, and the employees and customers are consistently mistreated. I've been made fun of and mocked often by the owner when visiting the establishment, and so have many others. The employees are overworked and underpaid. Also, there have been far too many incidents of sexual assault and harassment on customers, employees, and community members by the owner. And sexual assault allegations aside, I still would no longer support this establishment.

A homely and humble cafe nestled on the premise of historic Boone Tavern, the food is delectable and the atmosphere impeccable. There's no better place to sit down and chat over a freshly grilled sandwich and your choice of warm drink.

Got dropped here after my car wrecked on the highway. Adam and a super sweet young woman (whose name I never got) were working; they provided coffee and an excellent Cinnabon bun while I sorted everything out! They also were supportive and very kind the few hours I waited there. Adam also let me use a blow drier on my hair after it got soaked by the rain.
10/10 would recommend the coffee & Cinnabon bun.

Excellent experience. Great coffee, fine employees and had a spur of the moment conversation with the owner, which was also pretty awesome. Will stop in again if I'm in the area.

I’ve never had a pleasant experience at BC&T. Many times I’ve had to wait extended periods for my coffee, once being told that I had received it when I had not and being told if I wanted another I would be paying for it. Very recently, the owner verbally attacked several college students via the company Facebook page. They will no longer be getting any of my business.

Great coffee and solid brownie. Cool ambiance. Worth the 2 mile detour off 75 to find it!

The food is overpriced. The coffee is mediocre. The cheesecake is from Wal-Mart. The owner has an unfortunate habit of getting drunk and insulting students on Facebook (the professional page for BC&T has been taken down in the wake of direct attacks against community members and students), actually assaulting people (some of my close friends have attested to their sexual assault by the owner), and for harassing people who leave bad reviews on his business. Do not go here. Give your tip directly to the employees who are cursed to work underneath this slimy man.
