I was going to have lunch here today with my wife, but while I was there looking at the menu I had a most unpleasant experience. I asked the owner a question about how big their $8 sandwiches were, a perfectly simple question. Only a couple minutes later while my wife and I were waiting to place our order, the owner started mocking us in front of the other customers about how we were asking about the size of the sandwiches saying its not subway, its a normal sized sandwich. Needless to say, we walked out and refused to give him any of our service. I urge anyone interested in dining here to reconsider. He was quite rude and did not seem interested in helping us.

I didn't try the coffee which is their main attraction, but the chicken salad sandwich and cookie provided to them by Clementine's were delicious. They only had very few lunch options though. Also the place was very small. That could be cozy, but instead the blue carpet, walls, and ceiling with painted clouds made it feel very cold; more like a baby's room than a coffee shop.

The staff was very nice and the atmosphere was relaxing, but the coffee was atrocious. I got an iced vanilla latte and it was way too sweet, it was like drinking stevia. My mom got an Irish creme coffee and it was probably the most disgusting coffee I have ever tasted; it was comparable to battery acid. Would NOT come back for coffee, though I may try a tea. Overall, we were very disappointed with our drinks.

This was one of the places I frequented, while attending Berea College. The atmosphere is relaxing, inviting, and tranquil; with an equally warm ambience. BC&T offers a versatile list of delicious coffees, teas, and espresso; as well as baked goods, and home made sandwiches/soups. All of the baristas are friendly, lovely individuals; and the conversations with them, are just another perk of resting here for a spell. Definitely make this one of your stops, if you come to visit!

Was planning to grab a latte and shop around at some of the local shops but after stopping here, I just wanted to leave immediately! As soon as I walked in, you could just sense the tense feeling that the co-workers were having. I have a feeling the guy who took care of me was some sort of management. However, possessed no traits of a leader. He was unfriendly from the time I walked to the counter. no greeting, no smile, nothing. I noticed he put whole milk in my latte instead of almond milk. After I asked him about it (nicely), he basically scolded me and rolled his eyes. I was so embarrassed and frustrated. I will likely never go back. The latte was too sweet for me anyways and tasted like something I could make at home myself. I feel sorry for the employees here if that was actually your "boss"

A cute little store, the owner is really kind and practically knows everyone. The sandwiches are great and the coffee is even better. I stop there between classes when I can! It always makes my day better

BC&T is as good as it gets. The atmosphere is warm, casual, inviting, and "hip." The service is incredibly friendly; I venture to say you won't get this level of personal attention at many other cafes. They also now offer gluten-free bread which is a Godsend for people who are gluten-free or have Celiac Disease, such as myself. Try the Mediterranean sandwich; it's easily the best sandwich I've had in a long time. BC&T is a Berea classic, check it out whether you're a Berea local or tourist!

I have spent and enjoyed many hours at BC&T, their coffee is of high quality, and the atmosphere is exactly what anyone would wish out of a coffee shop. Their food is regrettably pricey for a town such as Berea, yet the quality of the food is so good as to simply make it a rare treat that is worth the price.

Quaint little shop, have a wide variety of coffees to drink, and can also purchase beans. They have delicious sandwiches and desserts as well. Friendly and fun staff set the mood as a welcoming, relaxing shop. Great place to spend some time
