Lettuce Feed You

Came across this gem today inside the Capitol! What a great atmosphere with a fun menu. The menu has a nice variety of options and reasonable prices. Many menu names incorporate a Kansas item/theme. The ability to order online and pick up is perfect for those who like to plan ahead with a grab and go lunch.

The coffee options are endless and I will be trying one of every flavor along with the $5.00 milkshakes!

If you driving to this location you will need to park in visitor parking or on Jackson street. The restaurant is located inside the Capitol.

Lauren and her staff are a blessing here at the Capitol. They do an amazing job trying to keep up with the requests of their customers by introducing a variety of food and beverage choices. The food is always amazing. The service is superb. I am not a coffee drinker, but if you are, you will be happy to know that they have a plethora of coffee drinks in all flavors.

As a member of the Ks Legislature for ten years, I can remember the days of Don's snack shack on the third floor. A hot dog or PBJ were the lunch choices of the day. Lauren has expanded that service exponentially with a variety of menu items, with lasagna being my personal favorite. A fully stocked salad bar, free if you can make a salad weighing exactly one pound!

If you find yourself at the Kansas State Capitol building, you need to check it out. It is just inside the visitor center on the ground floor. You will not be disappointed.

Lauren & Diona served a group meeting I co-hosted in Topeka with precision and creativity. The spread was laid out with care (& sunflowers), and the food was delicious especially the pasta salad, which I may order again just for me to eat by myself. Will definitely use Lettuce Feed You for catering in Topeka in the near future. Cheers!

Lettuce Feed You is such a blessing for anyone who works at or is visiting the Statehouse and places nearby. The food is fantastic, and Lauren is an absolute joy. She has a wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and snacks- from brunch quiche to lunch pizza, to her delicious salad bar. As an added bonus, your salad is free if it's 1 lb exactly! If you are at the Statehouse and hunger and/or sleepiness strikes, don't hesitate to stop by Lettuce Feed You on the ground floor. I have to mention that Lauren makes amazing flavored hot and cold caffeinated and non-caffeinated beverages. You should check it out!

Due to working at the statehouse, I eat at Lettuce Feed you a lot. At this day and age, I know it is hard to hire people in any line of work, but they manage to still do an excellent job with being short staffed.
The hospitality and food is always excellent!

The food here is terrific. The coffee is always delicious. And the staff is friendly and dependable! If you stop by the Capitol, you should stop in for a special treat!

Their new menu in the Capitol building isn't the best. Grab and go options primarily. Lady at the front ignored me while talking on the phone. Food selections are not the best and I hope next time for better customer service.

Excellent food, wonderful coffee options. Their breakfast options are my favorite. The staff are consistently friendly and accommodating, and I love stopping by. Come for the punny name, stay for the food.
