Very very happy with these croissants!! The gentleman making them obviously digs making these buttery, flakey treats for his customers. ♥️ Loved the ham & cheese croissant, especially! Our road-warrior vehicle now has flakes of magic all over the place ‘cause we passed these babies around... the kids loved them! Even our egg-sensitive kid was able to eat one without a problem ... the Benadryl wasn’t necessary. 👍🏽
* These coffees weren’t from Le Petit Bon Bon. Head over to Blackbird for a decent 😏 Americano.
This place is really a treat for us. It's a little pricey but the pastries are all hand made and they are incredible. The owner is such a sweet, personable guy. From the croissants to the slow drip coffee, you won't be disappointed with anything you get here.
Pastries are delicious and they have a wide variety of authentic French pastries. The place smells delicious! My only complaint is that the inside is a little disorganized.
Coffee was good but not what they had on the menu that I wanted. I ordered several things and they were out of one thing after another. Very strange store, felt like a pastry and coffee garage sale store, what you see is what you get (who runs out of medium coffee, mocha for your coffee, all the cakes advertised, lemonade, no additional pastries listed, etc.. etc ...? Haha) The appeal was the French pastries and they barely had any, just some croissants and those seemed like grocery store quality, nothing fancy at all. They don't even make them there. The idea of the place is top notch and pulled me in when I noticed it, but they need help in inventory and in quality. Also in aura... Again, potential with it's cute quirkiness but also dead bugs, stains on walls and a big warehouse open to the public eye with stained gross looking ceilings. Just odd experience all around.
Loved Le Petit Bon Bon! They had a great selection of patries like croissants and turnovers. I actually got their lemon cake. The buttercream icing was so melt-in-your-mouth delicious I could hardly handle it.
Also, they had surprisingly good coffee! They offer pourovers, chemexes, and (I believe) drip. The manager Carlos was also very helpful in choosing which beans we wanted for our coffee that afternoon.
Being partial to window seating they had some up front, otherwise they had loads of seating (about 50 seats) in the main part of the restaurant. Very tasty, very fun, and somewhat surprising for Topeka!
I ordered 40 croissants for a bridal shower I was hosting this past Saturday, August 4th. In order to give them enough notice I stopped in on July 24th to place my order and pay for it. The lady helping me asked when I was picking them up and I asked if it was okay to pick them up at 7. She said that was no problem. When I arrived Saturday morning at 7 am the lights were off, doors were locked, and there were no cars in the parking lot. At 7:25 they messaged me and said they were there now. I drove all the way back (from Auburn) to get them since I had already paid. When I arrived I expressed my frustration and the guy was extremely rude and told me they don't allow orders to be picked up at 7am. He said that the girl helping me originally was new and not aware of the 9am pickup policy (They should have called me in that week and a half time frame to tell me this, rather than waiting until the day I planned the pickup). He then proceeded to tell me that I should have waited "a little longer". He offered no apology and acted as if it was my fault. Also, when you say you open at 7 you should open at 7, not 7:30. This is NOT the way business should be handled.

Quirky place with amazing pastries. These are the lightest, most flaky chocolate croissants I have ever had. I will be going back!

Just left after trying six different pastries. They were all very good and a lot better than the grocery store frozen things.

One of my favorite bakeries. Each pastry is incredibly delicious, as they are sooo flaky and light. I wish I could come here every day....
If you live in Topeka and haven't visited here, you're doing yourself a disservice. I also recommend CoffeeHead and Josey's Bakery.

I had to go two days in a row, the pastries are so good and the service is very nice. If you have a chance to go, please do!

Definitely give it a try!
