Super good food! I got the eggs Benedict. The hash browns were delicious, the eggs perfectly pooched however corned beef hash was not good at all, it reminded of the canned corn beef. Next time I'm getting ham to substitute the corned beef. Great service, clean and enjoyable atmosphere. Great Diner!

I come here after my yearly VA checkup without fail. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I'm always seated immediately every time I go. They bring you a whole pot of coffee which is great since I drink a lot of coffee and it actually pretty good coffee. The food is amazing. The omelets are always on point and the specialty pancakes never disappoint. The wait staff is friendly and very good. Love the old time atmosphere as well.

Edit 11/15: I'm hoping it was just a bad day..I've been here 4 times since I made this post, and have ordered this at least 2 other times and it has been just as amazing.
But today, the section I was sat in was very playful today and didn't want to bring out food before it was cold...and I'm not sure what they changed about the French toast today, but it was really not good. I'll come back because I'm hoping it's a fluke..but I hope it doesn't go this way again. I really wanted this to be my weekly breakfast spot. But not for cold food that is not even close to the way it's tasted 3 other times before.
Request Sherri. I've never had better service in my life.
This was filling, yummy, and came out super fast.

Don't know if the other reviewers went to the same Hanovers as I did. I went to the one on Kansas ave. In Topeka Ks. But this place is like stepping into the 1960s. The decor in this place is old, outdated and broken down.
The service left something to he desired as well. It took 10 minutes before a waitress even came to our table. She then stood there awkwardly without saying anything. Usually a waitress prompts you through your order. My son was halfway done eating by the time he got his apple juice, I would have offered him some of my water had it not been for the floaties in the glass.
The food... wow I think the only reason for the good reviews is because of how cheap this place is but that's the only good thing. The biscuits and gravy are enormous but tasteless. The biscuits are not homemade and can be bought in any large box store. The gravy comes from a can and the hashbrowns from a bag. Sausage patties that I had were burnt while my sons links were cold. I bet their microwaves are the stars of the show back in the kitchen. Will not be returning anytime soon.

Love this place! Such a gem of Topeka. Food is always amazing and the staff are all super sweet. No wonder it's been around for such a long time.

The food was fantastic. It was hard to choose from all of the wonderful choices.
