Blackbird

We love the Blackbird Cafe! Service is spectacular and the food is delicious. You can really tell the care bout their customers. My daughter and I love having breakfast here, but you have to try their made from scratch soup for lunch. Even my toddler loved it!

I have been going to Blackbird for 5 years now. There is no other place in Topeka that compares. The coffee is perfect every damn time. The employees are the most friendly and efficient people I have ever met. My boys have grown up in this coffee shop.
You will not be disappointed.

We got coffee and several pastries. The place was very busy. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their food and conversation. It was great.

Went Blackbird to get a sandwich and coffee and to work on a couple of things. The sandwich I got was the veggie croissant and a mocha latte. Both were decent, but pretty disappointing given the other reviews here. If you are someone who likes a really high quality cafe experience I don’t think this is the place for you.

Their menu was quite extensive so I asked for the barista to be creative and just make me something caffeinated, sweet, and made with non-dairy milk, whatever the concoction was, it was delicious! I was very impressed with the perfect level of flavour, temperature and texture. It was creamy, and soothing and exactly what I wanted. They really know what they're doing there and have wonderful customer service.

My husband and I love this gem! We were in Topeka on business and found this place online and with good reviews we decided to visit.The food is delicious! It is cozy and comfortable. The staff was so nice and friendly. Good coffee and amazing dessert. We went back the next night. Thank you Blackbird ❤

Great working environment! I tried an iced caramel macchiato and loved it! Overall, the staff was super nice and accommodating and the drink was out super fast!

First time visit today and I really liked the quieter atmosphere. I ordered a mocha latte and it was excellent. Just a hint of mocha. It wasn't overpowering - the way a latte was meant to be. Will definitely be back!

Place has changed owners over the years, but has always managed to provide a great service for the community. Super friendly staff, nice regular crowd, and a solid quick-bite lunch menu.
