Great place for coffee and a bite to eat! We got simple breakfast wraps, but their bakery items looked amazing! And the coffee was a great pick me up. Masks are required, but they have extra right as you walk in and hand sanitizer.

My coffee and wrap were both delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing and the employees were very attentive!

I think today was our second visit from out of town and we love the coffee! Very fresh and I loved the pastry case! Today I tried the vegan breakfast cookie which was super sweet and fruity and was honestly probably the best cookie I have ever eaten in my whole life. That is definitely a recipe I need in my life!!!

The friendliest vibe in Topeka! And hands down the best homemade baked goods for miles: scones, cinnamon rolls, cookies, cake, pie, shortbreads…yum! Great coffee and terrific selection of beers on tap. You want Blackbird’s monthly “always scrumptious” sandwich special. Best homemade soups during the cold months.

I was traveling through town on Thanksgiving with my kids and I was so grateful for the Blackbirds Thanksgiving dinner! It was excellent and I was so lucky that they had some left for us.

This is my favorite local coffee shop. They have a wide variety of pastries and desserts in the case each day. The caramel bread pudding is my favorite, but it runs out fast on the weekend. I also love the Mediterranean Turkey Sandwich and potato salad. I haven't had a bad meal here. It's cozy and welcoming, and I'm glad it's part of Topeka.

It's pricey and, like all cafes, you occasionally deal with some wait times for food while busy. Still, my favorite coffee shop in Topeka. Drinks are always fast and usually perfect.

Everyone who works there is super friendly and provides great service except for one guy who's always salty about being at work, and it shows. Not that you have to smile while making coffee, but everytime I encounter him, I feel bad for his co-workers who are all just the sweetest.

My favorite place in Topeka. The desserts and sandwiches are always top notch and I've loved every drink that I've tried. The baristas are kind, and the atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. It always puts me in a good mood to come here and hear all of the regulars greeting each other. Great place to have a friendly conversation or to get some work done solo.

The environment is wonderful, like a coffee house with delicious food! There is a variety of baked goods and other sweets, I think I see cheesecake! The music is ambient, low enough for a conversation. There is also a variety of merchandise as well, different flavors of coffee and syrups, caps and t-shirts. There is plenty of seating and the tables are spaced properly apart, except for the bar space. There are a few spirits on the shelf as well. I'm impressed!

I’ve been to this place about 5 times with my husband and daughter. Every time we come here it is AWKWARD. It’s like eye contact makes employees uncomfortable. I know why I get treated differently but I’m not going to say it less I be considered as paranoid.

The drinks are expensive for the lack of quality. The specials are nasty. The flavors of the food isn’t complimentary. The sugar in the bakery items aren’t balanced. One day you’ll get a party that tastes fine and the next day, it tastes like our sugar.

So many other places to choose from besides here.
