Came looking for a card game, which they didn't have, but i was given a couple other locations in town that may have it. Very friendly and very helpful. And they have an excellent selection of board games!

Most of the seating is gone. The main reason I shopped there instead of online is so I could spend the time perusing carefully to get what I really want. I buy 4 or 5 periodicals each month and at 12 to 20.00 a pop they need to have content which means I need to really look them over. Same with the books I purchase. If there is no place to sit, I leave.

Found the exact books we were looking for within minutes of coming into the store. Also had a great little place for out 2 year old to play while we read a bit of our new books. Bonus we got a coupon to the in-store Starbucks that we were planning on visiting anyway.

A bookstore in Topeka is surprisingly rare. Glad to have a place where you can actually ask a human being a question and they're reasonably knowledgeable. I was helped by the manager Jennifer and she knew what I was looking for even though I didn't. I walked out spending more than I anticipated with no regrets. If you read this review that was a paragraph long than you too would appreciate a quality bookstore.

I love this store. Its large and spacious, the cafe is always cooking and smells delicious, and has lots of spaces to work in. The staff are also friendly and if you need any book, usually you can find most things here. Also, that cheap book section is the best!

I went to B&N to get some Tarot cards and found exactly what I was looking for. I talked to a nice woman who guided me to where the cards were and was helped by a nice gentleman at the front who informed me about the rewards club which I politely declined but appreciated the offer. A good place to go, with helpful staff, and a calm atmosphere.

We really like to come here to let the kids pick out books every once in awhile. I personally will buy my stuff through Amazon but it is still nice to come here and browse through different sections. And if you need something immediately this would be a good choice, but if you can wait a few days you can usually find stuff cheaper on Amazon.

I liked it much better when they had tables and big comfy chairs where you could sit and relax. I once spent an entire day there and was perfectly comfortable there. Now it's just like any other store and you may as well order online in the comfort of your own home and go pick it up at the store.

The only downfall is the bathrooms are absolutely filthy every single time we go here. Like an elementary school bathroom. Horrible and unsanitary! Especially with everything going on right now, I’m shocked they don’t clean their restrooms. We go here all the time, the Starbucks cafe inside of this location is perfect and spacious, and if you have a Barnes and Noble member card, your Starbucks is always 10-15 percent off. It’s only $25 for an entire year, free coupons and free food or drink items too. So worth it.

Super clean, organized and well sorted store with very friendly staff that was eager to hrlp, but not over the top. They had a great selection of music, movies and of course books. A good music selection is very hard to come by these days and I really appreciate that they still dedicate sales floor space to it.
