Where to start? Great food with a very diverse menu; lots of drinking options and the coffee is always great. The brunch specials are nice and sometimes they have live music! Nice outdoor seating though the inside can be a little cozy, but I don't mind that. Best place to study in town!

My coffee and muffin were fine, but the interior of the coffee shop smelled like vaporized grease. We sat outside to enjoy our coffee. We would have ordered another round of coffees, but were told that they had shut off the "latte machine" an hour before closing time for cleaning, and all they could see were teas.

I had the hazelnut coffee. Very good! My daughters and I shared the quiche, biscuits & gravy, a mixed berry scone and a piece of banana bread. I loved l the fresh fruit and cheesey hash browns on the side. Service was fast and the atmosphere excellent.

One of the coolest little coffee shops in Manhattan. Plenty of seating, outdoor seating available when nice out. Coffee is always good quality.

My first time here and their special was pizza. So I had the Friday special with salad and a Latte for about $10! It was fantastic! The service was great, atmosphere good, prices good, food taste was fabulous! For a quaint little bistro beyond expectations! ❤

The portions compared to the price are disappointing, to say the least. They make a French restaurant look like a bargain food chain. To supplement the poor amount of actual food, they provide generic chips/ pretzels like you'd get for $.25 at the store.
The main course itself was unremarkable, one might as well go to Subway to get a better, cheaper, more filling meal.

Bluestem Bistro is one of my favorite places on earth. I have spent many summer days sipping cold drinks on the patio and many winter days inside curled up with a hot drink. I am a Sunday brunch regular, and I know several of their baristas by name.
That being said, I don't think that they have adapted well to the current situation due to the COVID outbreak. They have added a sneeze guard in front of the cash register, and employees are wearing masks, but they did not put one up between the line of customers and the baked goods on display next to the register. There is also not a barrier along the drink counter, and while I was waiting for my food, I saw many people put their hands on the counter while asking questions or picking up drinks and it wasn't sanitized between every touch. Actually, I stood there for about 20 minutes, and I didn't see a single surface be sanitized. They have not removed enough tables, and it is difficult to navigate the restaurant and maintain a 6 foot distance. Actually, it's impossible, because they still have tables down the middle aisle. The patio is equally crowded. Older people sitting on the patio are not relaxed, because the college aged people are not courteous about keeping a distance. The environment is downright uncomfortable.
Bistro, I love you, but I did not feel safe going there today. I'm posting this review in hope that you will review your choices. I would love to see your business continue for many years, but I'm worried about what an outbreak at your location would do to your reputation. People who are high risk for COVID should stay far away.

I'm not into coffee houses, sorry. It's a social status meeting place. The food goes beyond creative, so it either impresses or is a total let down. The prices reflect the social status quo too. They definitely try to impress, it just wasn't for me.

Stopped in for a quick bite. The food was incredible and the smoothie was just heaven. Next time I’m in town, I’ll definitely come back.

The atmosphere is very warm inside, and the smell is great. I would suggest getting an ice honey nougat coffee when you stop here.
