Bluestem Bistro

I have been going to coffee houses for years, and I have been to coffee houses all over the US (East Coast and West Coast). However, this is the best place I have ever been. Thank you for staying open all these years.
To the local city officials of Manhattan, KS, shame on you. You didn't support this business but waffled and let "St@rHucks" build a block over and put in a drive thru. That is scandalous. You should be ashamed. Manhattan's townies sticking to those they do not like again. Anyways, help Bluestem stand up to the man by getting a fresh cup! It is a great place to go.

Go to place for great coffee, food, service, and music. Can't go wrong with the outside seating and friendly staff

The morning baked goods and coffee is good. Has heated patio

We went here twice and were disappointed with our experiences. The first time the staff forgot half of our order and the second time we tried a breakfast burrito which was served cold and was so bad that I threw it away after 1 bite. Stick to the baked good

Pos: good services, good taste, good atmosphere, good prices.

Cons: A little more warmth from the waiters would be great, the girl who carried our order was a little rushed.

Loved the experience and the place is great! It has the best oatmeal! And really good mochas! (My 9 year old son that insisted on leaving a review)

Amazing food and great ambient!

We stopped here for lunch. My daughter and I split a turkey, bacon and avocado sandwich. It was really good, the turkey was thick sliced and just perfect, but I really couldn't see any avocado on it, maybe an avocado paste, but no slices. Still a really good sandwich, and I'd like to try more of what they serve there.

We were excited try a new spot to us. Ordered lunch, sandwiches tasty, but very slim with ingredients/portions (looked like I could have made at home). Mac n cheese generous with portion size, average in taste. Will return to try again. 😊

Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and yummy drinks. I stop in as often as I can!
