We eat brunch here every time we are in Lawrence. Everything is great. Expect a wait at peak times.

Always amazing fresh food with kind staff and warm chill vibes. Love the atmosphere of the Roost and option of inside or outside dining! Definitely a go to when family/friends visit!

Good food, good service, relaxed pace. One note: if you want The Rooster breakfast combo, note that you get your choice of French toast, pancakes, or potato cakes. The menu didn't have the Oxford comma, which led to some confusion on our part. To their credit, the restaurant did right by us and resolved the issue.

We're not in Lawrence often, so we will probably try another local spot on our next trip, but not because of any shortcomings at The Roost - if friends asked us to join them there, we would return without hesitation.

Great coffee and breakfast. Left with a pecan roll I can't wait to try. Over an hour wait for breakfast on the Sunday we went. I'm definitely going back to try a Reuben for lunch but not on a Sunday.

The staff was amazing. But the biscuit taste like they were day old. The gravey was on the other hand was really good

The Roost is a long time Lawrence staple. Great breakfast, friendly service, and the typical Mass. St. atmosphere. The French Toast is the kind you dream of and the Potato Cakes are truly unique. Whatever you get you'll likely leave satisfied with your decision.
