Nice book store. I purchased Eyes on Target here back in 2017. Great book. I also like the Ravin book store. I purchased a few books there as well. John Douglas and his partner in crime need to stop writing books. They have become monsters.

Cozy spot to grab tea/coffee and then look around at their books (or vice versa)! They even have classical music events every now and then that are worth checking out and feature some great musicians!

Really enjoy stopping at Signs to grab a good cup of coffee while walking along Mass. I also enjoy looking through their book store. Someone else noted it can get chilly up front due to the foot traffic, which is true, but it’s definitely a great place to grab tea or a latte and read a book or chat with a friend.

It was closed; web said open 10:30; sign on door said "open before noon"
Whatever.

A combo coffee shop, bookstore, and art gallery, this Lawrence staple feels like home. The bookstore is primarily Christian books and classics, but still a very nice selection. Great coffee drinks. Solid rotating galleries upstairs. Just a lovely place.

Signs of Life is one of my go-to study places. Signs is spacious with enough seating to always find a spot, and one can enjoy perusing the art gallery and bookstore during breaks from studying. The coffee and beverages are done well, but the major plus for me is the well-lit atmosphere and the friendly baristas.

This is a great little coffee shop! It is quiet and the perfect place to study or catch up with a friend. Their coffee is good and I love their themed seasonal specials!

This is my go-to coffee shop in Lawrence. In my opinion their most delicious item is their London Fog, which is the best london fog I've ever had. Quiet and cozy environment and always great drinks.

A great place to hang out and have conversations, read, and do internet work. I usually like my coffee shops a little darker, but the place is clean and people are super friendly so that's more important. Great location by Mass St too! So far the drinks and food have been good!
*They don't charge for or limit their internet like some shops in town do! This makes me want to buy from them even more.*
Added bonus: They have a beautiful piano that musicians can play... and I do love me some piano. :)

It's a Christian bookstore with a very warm, inviting coffee space and a respectable gallery upstairs. They also have this gorgeous antique Steinway in their lobby which they let folks (who are serious about it -- no chopsticks) play.
