Daylight Donuts - Gardner

Showed up early (6:30 am) looking for some fresh donuts today. Completley disappointed, as the donuts looked and tasted like they were from the previous day. Daughter disliked them so much she only took 2 bites before asking if she could throw the rest away. Not the first time this has happened at this location. Last time I blamed it in myself showing up later in the morning.

First, i ordered my daughters birthday donuts from here February 2021 mid pandemic, and they were outstanding! There were custom letter donuts (happy birthday) with a variety of icing, also a dozen mixed donuts, 4 dozen donut holes, and they threw in some cookies too! Ordered online weeks in advance (almost forgot i did) they called me 2 days before my scheduled pickup date to confirm and the donuts were warm and gooey when i arrived. Paid around $50 i think for all that when i would have paid that just for a good cake and a card at the grocery store.
Second, who doesn't love Sylas and Maddie's?!
Third, the staff is always quick, friendly, and helpful.

I preordered a dozen donuts the morning of 4/22 for pick up at 9:30am on 4/23. The gentleman working that morning called to clarify my order about 40min prior to pickup. Upon my arrival, at 9:30 am, my order was still not ready. When he tried to give me the box, many of the donuts I ordered were still missing. I asked specifically about the strawberry glazed I had ordered. He lied to me and told me he had not had those for hours when I just witnessed the customer he helped before me take the last of the strawberry glazed. When I mentioned that, he made an excuse and said that’s why he had tried to call and clarify my order and he was the only one working that morning. At this point I was so frustrated, I just took what was in the box. If you preorder, do not expect to get the donuts you have paid for!

Donuts are always fresh and delicious and the staff is very kind.

It was wonderful, the 2 girls working there were so kind and honest. I’ve never been here and i was asking about flavors and i asked what’s in the triple fudge and one of then said jokingly idk fudge. But all in all I would definitely recommend the ice cream here

Donuts, cookies, and ice cream.... seriously what can more can you want! Donuts sell out pretty quick in the morning but there always seem to be some cookies left in the evenings still when we go. The ice cream is top notch being Sylas & Maddys. Don't expect a huge selection of flavors like at their dedicated shops but still great ice cream.

If your going to have a place strictly for donuts then you should have some of the best donuts in town. Went there today to get a few donuts and they were all dry and old looking (it was 7am so you would think they should be fresh.) Maybe this isn't the normal thing for them but today was bad.

Donuts are NOT fresh such a huge disappointment considering they charge 9.99 a dozen at that price they should be fresh! What a sad way to do business! It was clean counter girl was nice! Donuts are NOT fresh or good!!! You would think with money being so tight and everything being so uncertain that if you have a business that still can operate in this trying time they'd at least be decent and fresh! So irritated I even wasted my family's money like this!!
