PerKup Cafe

Super delicious coffee and breakfast over all, over the last year I've probably been here 10x. Never been disappointed, perfect place for getting breakfast with your grandmother or significant other. If you haven't been and wondering if you should just do it, you won't be disappointed.

Outstanding! Our server Natasha was friendly and the Manager/owner very nice wanted to make sure our breakfast was ok!! It was delicious 😋We had a sausage omelette with hash browns and a 1/2 order of Biscuits & Gravy!! Coffee very good...We will be back for sure. M&M

Food and atmosphere was wonderful! Only thing was that the waitress never checked on us. Only took our order and then brought our food and check. But other than it was great!

Put a big table together quickly. Drinks were fast, so we're refills. Food came out quick, hot and most importantly delicious. Toddler and baby friendly. Our server was wonderful, clearly a pro. Very happy with everything.

I am a Friday morning regular and couldn't be happier. We are always greated with a warm welcome. The food comes out quick, hot and delicious.

If you want a DELICIOUS breakfast with a cozy atmosphere, then you will love this Cafe! I really enjoy their hash brown taco dish! 😍 It’s made to order so won’t be coming back out with the drinks, lol but that is OKAY! Totally worth the lil wait! Staff are courteous and the atmosphere is so comfortable - my hubby and I love to dine at PerKup, such great food! Pancakes are also amazing. Prices are decent for the quality of food. Thanks for always making great dishes!

Perkup is one of my favorite places to eat around Des Moines. Love the management and staff, the food is absolutely amazing - especially the blueberry french toast - and the service is great.

The chicken parmesan omelette is one of the most unique and delicious breakfast dishes I've had - and I'm a breakfast enthusiast.

While employees are masked, they do not impose their mask preferences on customers and allow people to make their own choices, which is really important to our family.

We are frequent patrons of Perkup and would encourage anyone looking for an amazing dining experience to give them a shot!

Food was great. We got the special stuffed French toast. It was heavenly. The outside was crispy, the inside was fluffy and soft. There's just enough sweetness to it that's not overpowering. The menu is pretty diverse and the prices are decent.

Best hash browns and omelette I've had in Des moines! Staff were courteous, waiting time to be seated was low (~10 min on a Sunday noon), food was ready in ~10 min even when restaurant was filled 90% to it's capacity, to top it all, taste was excellent.. highly recommend this place for a weekend brunch! 🍳

PerKup is absolutely my favorite place in the Des Moines areas to get breakfast. First, the staff is amazing. It's a cute family owned restaurant and you can tell with how polite everyone is. I've had several things off their breakfast menu and you really cant go wrong. Add the revenge sauce to whatever you get and also get the homemade jam with your toast, they have different flavors every day!
