T J's Cafe

Visiting from Wisconsin and we had to get a bite to eat and this was probably one of the only places in town. Cute little place. Bigger then I thought. Not Too many people in there, but then again it was a Tuesday. Since it was taco Tuesday I had to get the nachos. Food was good. Nothing “out of this world” but we all enjoyed it and ate every bite. Waitress was pleasant. Had a good experience. If I’m ever here again I know we will definitely stop by.

If you happen to be in the area this is a great little café for breakfast and most particularly for pie. Get the pie! There isn't anything out of the ordinary here, but it's all tasty and priced fairly.

The food is always good and the staff is very friendly and fun.

The hot roast beef was great. 4 of the ten chicken livers were not cooked enough. When I showed our server no offer was made to discount the dish. Nice server but probally won't go back.

Best pork tenderloin I've ever had and the corn fritters are killer!!!!!

Great food. They say the tenderloin is the best in SW iowa. I'd have to say its the best in the state. My wife had the French Dip and she said she'd come back for it again, which is high praise coming from her. Great selection of items on the menu. Well worth the trip.

Small Town cafe with friendly staff and great food. We'll be back! She forgot to ask if we wanted dessert but we forgave her after the pie..

Considering the town is rather small this diner was huge! Great atmosphere, staff and locals! The food was amazing, my burger was served on sourdough bread, which made it even better plus they have curly fries on the menu! YUM!

Went above and beyond to accommodate family coming from two hours away as a central meeting/ dining get together. Pork tenderloins are phenomenal as well as the rest of the food. Waitress was very personable and helpful.

Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a small town dining experience.
